In a messy world of politics, sometimes a politician came out something from his or her mouth a name calling against fellow politician which in turn become an instant addition to a politics’ lexicon of words and phrases, like the invented tagalong word “trapo” which connotes a used and useless Philippine politician or person.

Traditional Politicians aka Trapos
Actually, this word is mostly used by the protestors and militants against a politician they dislike. It is one of the mostly used Philippine politics lexicon word in the Philippines. Actually, the word “trapo” is a short term for “traditional politician” that makes no any true change in the Philippines that benefitted the entire Pilipinos but just either only sitting on their respective government seats waiting for funds or pork barrel ( wherein some politicians are being accused of corrupting it) which Joe de Venecia invented somewhat euphemistic lexicon word in exchange for the word pork barrel, that is “earmark” ( a “trapo” waiting for his/her “earmark”); or a Philippine politician who acts like watch-dog where he or she criticize and criticize negatively on the government systems and exposing so-called “anomalies”, “graft and corruption”, etc.
Pork Barrel
This kind of Philippine politicians is called in Philippine politics lexicon, a “fiscalizer”. Actually, PNoy consider himself to be one as he says, but now he is on the seat of administration, what he “fiscalizing” now is the former administration.
