Partite Barangay
To
Barangay as we all knew it is the smallest Philippine political structure yet the recent Barangay elections (October 25),so also the past Philippine Barangay elections, made the barangay even smaller and parted the small groups of families within it through the sprouting of political partisanships that sometimes ends up in killing the political opponents if one is not satisfied with so much slandering the opponents within the political campaign. Moreover, even though the barangay elections is already finished and a new Barangay officials has already been elected, the rift between the group of opposing families within the barangay never stops and the loosing parties vows for a revenge or the slandering activities and gossiping continues within the barangay which consequently torn the barangay apart. They do this of course, not for the barangay’s sake or for the welfare of the barangay and in service for barangay, rather they do it for money’s sake. The personal necessities to have a good income mask by serving the barangay is the easiest and safe way for income or money to come in. This is true, because as you personally observe, for the past years of their barangay administration there is no full development within their respective barangays despite of the budgets they received.

Philippine Barangay Election
This is also certified by Senator Pimentel by the reports they received. The budget for the barangay largely spent for the salaries of the elected barangay officials, and only little for the development of the barangay.
See, if these barangay officials do really have the heart of service and a mind of progress for their respective barangays, no partisanship will arise and no bloodshed will shed and no gossiping and slandering tongue will tear the barangay apart. Moreover, they will not be concerned about their salary or income or will not be financially hoggish.
However, I do not say all the running and elected barangay officials are all what I have mentioned but there are also the good ones yet overcome by the hoggish ones who loves to exploit their own barangays, thus there is no major development happening within their baranagays. The jobless in their barangays remains jobless. The sick and ill in their barangays remains sick and ill. There are no bright ideas that come up that will elevate their barangays into higher class living; still mediocre and forever mediocre.
The precious budget is being eaten by the hogs in hoggery tricking the simple-minded with hogwash and ear candies.
“Tunay na Pagbabago( True Change)”DAW…..
This country is constantly being plagued by Islamofascism, yet political correctness prevails. This is truly a “slap in the face” – though I would expect no different in light of our current president, I’m surprised by the failure to act in our defense, especially as we face the threat of Sharia law on our soil.
I read books for a while but now I changed it to great blogs, your place is one of the examples why I began to pay attention to internet resources. Good luck!
