1. Tropical Storm Chedeng, et.al. As if a storm has a logical thinking that it will waste its time storming regions in the Philippines that are already well-prepared against an incoming storms that it will not hit big its presence in the Philippines but only minimal at certain regions which are unprepared for its coming. This is what has been the case of the Philippine tropical storm “chedeng”.

This tropical storm was expected to land on certain Luzon regions as it was forecasted but it hits regions which are not somewhat forecasted and even detour quickly out of the Philippine archipelago into area of responsibility of Japan.

Remember also the tropical storm “Juan” dubbed as a forthcoming super typhoon then but it was not be, because the Philippines is very well prepared then. But the tropical storm “Ondoy” becomes a major blockbuster typhoon overnight in the Philippines then and it becomes a major hit because the Philippines then is not well prepared or unprepared and not expecting the forthcoming of “Ondoy”.

Therefore, are tropical storms like typhoons, hurricanes, cyclones, etc. have their own thinking or is there someone manipulating and controlling their paths like puppets out there, now that there are rumors about weather warfares?

2.  Special Treatment for Rich and VIP Prisoners. After Tony Leviste’s escape and capture, lingering suspicions about special treatment for rich and very important person prisoners has come up into the surface of public scrutiny and the self-righteous and hypocritical administration of PNOy has to distance itself by laming all these to director of Bureau of Correction Ernesto Diokno which Aquino have warned to axed from his position and Aquino’s DILG secretary Laila De Lima want to file a case against Diokno but Diokno is quick to defend himself that he is innocent of the allegations thrown against him by the self-righteous PNoy and immediately resign from his post to avoid the humiliation Aquino administration will incur on his name. And upon his own resignation, the self-righteous PNoy thought that Diokno’s resignation is a self-admition of the allegations and want Diokno to give a new position of that action of Diokno.

How many innocent people will the self-righteous and hypocritical Aquino administration will demonized for the sake of personal gains and papogi points of his own administration that his administration is flawless and just and good whereas it is not, not only because of many “kapalpakan” but also because the Aquino administration loves to pinpoint or to blame others instead of making an accurate, correct and fair investigation first.

3. Reaping Coral Reefs and Aquatic Lives. It is like a bountiful harvest of undersea crops swept and scraps almost from the sea bed and to be selling to those who are interested to buy or to those people who are in great demand of marine decorative species and of exotic jewelry. This is how it was described the aquatic disaster discovered on the coast of Cotabato Philippines from the two container van containing alleged smuggled black corals, dead turtles, and other thousand pieces of marine lives.

4. More Reproductive Health Bill Debates and Sentiments. The war of the Catholic Church in the Philippines against the bill is still burning and would not let go until their desire about the bill should be done or fulfilled by the PNoy administration.

In my opinion, if PNoy has a firm decision regarding the bill, he should have already approved it a long time go or the bill have already been imposed and should not be indecisive only because of the catholic church threats; the state is stronger than the church because the church is only under the state’s authority and not all Filipinos are Christian or Catholics in religion. Why bother listen only to the Catholics in the Philippines?

5. No Smoking on Manila and PNoy’s “wa” say to it. Ban of smoking activities within the public metro is good but does only the ordinary Pinoys should be under it wherein there is a big Pinoy in the Palace that should become the role model of it. The palace can never excuse that Malacanang is a residential place thus PNoy is exempted because Malacanang is not just an ordinary private residence but a public place actually.

Will PNoy Support it?

Starting this Monday, May 30, 2011, smoking on public places and even on passenger vehicles is already forbidden within the metropolis or with Metro Manila and anyone caught in the act violating this city ordinance will of course be punish with fines and community service. This ordinance was imposed because of the growing number of smoking-related deaths among Filipinos and the health hazard of secondhand smoke according to the reports.

In fairness, this is actually a very good idea, however though this city ordinance is imposed the trade on cigarettes is still not ban within the Metro yet a stick of cigarette could not be lighted within the city; but what about PNoy? Yes, the pinoy within the metro is restricted but what about the PNoy in the palace; will he be restricted from lighting a stick of cigarette or exempted to it because anyway he is the president of the Philippine republic? Will he support the anti-smoking campaign in the Philippines and be the role model for Filipinos?

PNoy or Benigno “NoyNoy” Aquino III is well known in the Philippines to be a cigarette addict or always smokes, thus he should be the first pinoy within the scope of the city ordinance to follow such, anyways, Malacanang is a public place and not a personal or private place to smoke, is not it?

By the way, as of now PNoy have no say yet about the ordinance or it is already well understood?

Bygone But Not Gone

Though we Filipinos seldom heard the classic Filipino play songs like “Leron, leron Sinta”, ”Sitsiritsit”, ”Tongtongtongtong” and many others from children playing in the streets nowadays because they have been eclipse by modern technology of playing games, they are still not gone and forgotten by our hearts singing them when one reminisce the times we sang them during our childhood times when they were popular and hit during our childhood days. Moreover, they were also immortalized in our Philippine cultural books and were taught on our public and private schools and universities in the Philippines.

The most recent celebration and recollection of them is the concert of the Philippine Youth Symphonic Band at CCP (Cultural Center of the Philippines) last November 27, 2010 entitled: “Laro! Child’s Play at the CCP” which features the singing of well loved classic Pinoy play songs like of course : “Leron Leron Sinta”, “Sitsiritsit”, ”Tongtongtongtong”, ”Dandansoy” and “Sarungbangi” together with the exhibits of children’s furniture designed by well known Filipino designers after the singing activity.

The classic Pinoy play songs were sang in a blend of new melodies that appeal not only to children but also to those adults who experience singing them during their childhood. However, if you wanted to watch the concert yet have already missed it, don’t worry because the concert was recorded live and was produced on a 10-track CD that can be bought on leading music bars nationwide. Let’s wait for its release. The purpose of the 10-track CD is to bring to the present generation of Filipino the taste and memories of the bygone Pinoy children eras, where play station, video games, online internet games, and pop musics were not yet still existing then; to tell our present children how beautiful the old Filipino play songs also compare to the play songs today and to give them an experience of the music, early Filipino children enjoys and cherish back then.

Some Lyrics of the famous play folk Filipino songs :

(1) Leron Leron Sinta

Leron Leron Sinta
Buko ng Papaya
Dala dala’y buslo
Sisidlan ng sinta
Pagdating sa dulo’y
Nabali ang sanga
Kapos kapalaran
Humanap ng iba.

(2) Tong,Tong,Tong

Tong, tong, tong, tong, pakitong-kitong
Alimango, sa dagat
malaki at masarap
mahirap
mahuli sapagkat nangangagat
tong, tong, tong, tong, pakitong-kitong.

(3) Sitsiritsit Alibangbang

Sitsiritsit alibangbang

Salaginto’t Salagubang

Ang babae sa lansangan

kung bumirit parang tandang

Santo nino sa pandakan

Putoseko sa tindahan

Kung ayaw mong magpautang

Uubusin ka ng langgam

Mama mama namamangka

Pasakayin yaring bata

Pagtading sa maynila

Ipagpalit ng manika

Ale ale namamayong

Pasukubin yaring sanggol

Pagtading sa malabon

Ipagpalit ng bagoong

These are just sample of the lyrics of these three famous Filipino play songs or children’s songs or some Pinoys called them or categorized them as one of the Filipino Folk songs which the Philippine Youth Symphonic Band will sing at their concert at CCP (Cultural Center of the Philippines).

The Philippine Youth Symphonic Band (PYS) are composed of young and talented Filipino musicians that promote traditional Filipino musics. Its main purpose is continually immortalized or make alive the long gone but not gone traditional all Filipino music that shape the music industry back then in that era of the Philippines. It is a way to teach the modern Filipinos our rich musical heritage how the music industry back them hears like. It is their way or preserving and archiving the old Filipino folk songs and children’s songs through singing them again and bring them back again into the mainstream public consciousness, which is indeed a very good idea.

“Today, the PYSB is a versatile ensemble of 64 young, dedicated, talented and skilled musicians. Our membership age ranges from 8-24 years old. We have recently finished cutting our second CD with a varied sampling of the band’s capabilities.
By training our youth for an artful livelihood, the PYSB is well on its way to making the community band tradition a viable source of economic upliftment.”

Beautifying oneself is not exclusively for women of course, but men do have the right to do so but it is just it is not the favorite topic of men because they may look gayish if it is openly talked about. Furthermore, beautifying oneself is not always perceive as a vain thing but also a personal hygiene and personal responsibility to take care oneself wherein the reward is one’s handsome, beautiful, and gorgeous appearance or look, just like gorgeous men and women of the Philippines.

The Shocking Rustom Padilla a.k.a. Bb Gandanghari

I don’t know but perhaps, it is only in the Philippine showbiz that any handsome and hunk male celebrity or showbiz stars is overtly suspected to be a closet gay. But of course, the accused party is in total denial and show proofs that he is a real man, to cast away doubts and rumors that he might be a gay because this could ruin his precious career and matinee idol image.

Rustom Padilla

However, some matinee idols give in to the rumors and bravely admit that the rumors about him being a gay guy are true. The most recent who do this brave revelation is the former cute hunk matinee idol Rustom Padilla who have shock the entire Philippine showbiz industry when his beautiful big hunky body shrunk into very skinny body complexion when he was interviewed abroad by a showbiz porter of what is now happening to him abroad after his break-up with his former wife Ms. Carmina Villaroel.

Bebe Gandanghari

Bebe Gandanghari

Many thought, he has caught a disease abroad because of his so very skinny body and was greatly devastated by his break-up with Carmina Villaroel. But there are still lingering rumor that he might be a gay. Actually, both the camps of Rustom Padilla and Carmina Villaroel were interviewed then about if Rustom is gay or not, but both parties never answer straight, until Rustom himself break the mystery when he confessed through the TV program Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition that he is indeed gay and justified his being gay when he said “..hindi ako masamang tao…” (“..i am not an evil person…”,because the Christian church have demonized that gays are inherently evil and sinful creatures. But that doesn’t end the shock of the Philippine showbiz industry on him. He shocks more the Philippine showbiz industry when he finally cross-dress and said he is a woman and ever since he already knew that he is a woman. Moreover, he also personally declared that Rustom Padilla is now dead, he is now Bebe (Bb) Gandanghari – the woman and the real her who is hiding in the body and personage of Rustom Padilla. Recently, it was reported that he is planning or fly abroad for a sex change procedure.

The Happy Pinoy

Modern day fast-paced and workaholic lifestyle wherein our time for sufficient rest and relaxation has been hi-jacked by the inventions of light bulbs, computers, televisions, radios, etc. and other technologies and inventions that extend our daytime and sometimes makes us sleepless, has brought multiple stress-related diseases like depression, anxiety disorders, Hypertensions, heart attacks, diabetes, and other modern-day illness and diseases, which not only robs our physical body to have a sufficient break but also eats up our ability to stay constantly at peace, positive and happy. A suicidal rate has now been part of every country in the world.

Pinoy

With all of these, how can such group of people or nation in the world stay laughing out loud the problems and worries they are facing? ; For recent reports reveals that the Pilipinos are one of the most happy people in the world today. Wow, that is really good news for people seeking to be inflicted with a Happy diseases. But how can Pilipino stay happy and positive despite of the attacks and onslaughts of problems, diseases and calamities, whereas some other races succumb to suicide and depression? This is one of the mystery attitudes of Pilipinos aside from being a talented race which the other nations admire and enamored with.

The Maharlikans: The True Pinoy

Before the Spaniards came to conquer and indoctrinate Pilipinos into Catholic Christianity under their powers or to be a colony of Spain, Pilipinos have already their own set of beliefs systems and government system that is the Maharlikan system.

The Maharlikan system is quite similar to the Mayans and Hindu religion. Thus, it is suspected that the real Pilipinos have Sumerian and Egyptian lineage, as well as one of the real dwellers of the lost continent of Mu or are Lemurians. The lost continent Mu is the one called “Lemuria”; Lemuria is a contemporary counterpart of Atlantis then.

The Spanish conquerors not only forcibly indoctrinate many Pilipinos at that time to convert to their religion but they also change or rename the Philippines, from Maharlikan into now the Philippines in line with the name of the king of Spain at that time which is King Philip.

Up until now, the majority of Pilipinos are still held captive by the Hispanic influence of the Spaniards though the Spaniards no longer in the Philippines; through holding still the name “Philippines” and still practicing and the worse integrating into the real Pilipino culture the religious belief of the Spanish conquerors and missionaries back then which is Catholicism, instead of the name “Maharlikan”, and the Maharlikan system of Beliefs.

Pinoy Jejemon : Modern Day Pinoy Youth Expression

Some modern day Pilipino teens and youth today has find their way to be notice in the Philippines’ public eye through a kind of texting or SMS messaging called “Jejemon”. Jejemon is a kind of SMS messaging that adds either additional letter or number to a word invented by some modern day Pilipino teens and youths, match with a “jejemon get up” like wearing a colorful cap.

Example of a jejemon text is “eow poh, ajejeje”, which simply means “hello”. But this is just a mild jejemon SMS message, there are other two more kind of jejemon text that is already hard to decipher and jejemeon texters calls the other two kinds as benign and terminal jejemon.

Mild : “eow”

Benign : “eowh”

Terminal : “eowfhx6”

Some of the parents of the jejemon Pilipino teen and youths were really worried and anxious of what is going on with their children when they received a SMS message from their jejemon daughter or jejemon son, as it was reported on the news.

However, this is not alarming as to reprimand the Pinoy jejemon teens and youths from doing such kind of texting, though there are other teens and youths who oppose it and wanted to correct this kind of SMS messaging wherein they call themselves “jejemon busters or jeje busters”; because this kind of SMS messaging is just a mere a “children’s play” wherein anytime the Pilipino jejemon could correct it anytime they wanted.

Pompous Inaugural

Pompous celebration Again? Yes, Pilipino once again set their hope and expectations with pomp and glitters of happy and hopeful emotions to the inaugural of a newly elected Philippine president which the eventuality always are frustrations, impeachment and “people power” if the newly elected Philippine president have not met the expectations and the hope they trust and cling on during the pompous inaugural.

Now, the inaugural of the 15th Philippine president has been highly hope for because they expect too much that the 15th Philippine president Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III will not fail them and disappoint them just like what the former Philippine presidents have always done.

For some Pilipinos thought that “Noynoy” being a son of the Philippine’s icons of democracy – late ex-Philippine president Corazon Aquino and late ex-Philippine Senator Benigno Aquino – he will also do the like of his parents. However, do his parents have augmented the condition and status of the Philippines, economically and spiritually? In my opinion, they did not, but rather his parents only oppose political oppression and dictatorship and not economic oppression and spirituality. For if the late ex-Philippine President Corazon Aquino have truly reign successfully and have truly bring success and progress to the Philippines, politically, economically, and spiritually, there would be no problems of such of these now and on during her reign or administration, like graft and corruption, poverty, moral hypocrisy, etc.? Is not it?

Therefore, is “Noynoy” the hope Pilipino are waiting for or is it just a mere an empty emotional excitement again?
