The Philippines famous TV host and comedian Mr. Joey de Leon guesting on ABS-CBN TV program “The Buzz” to promote his movie “Won’t Last A Day Without You” becomes a trending tweets on the world famous micro blogging site Tweeter on regards to Philippine tweets. This is so because Joey de Leon is known in the Philippine Entertainment industry that badmouths openly on his own shows on the rival network of ABS-CBN, which is GMA channel 7,shows on ABS-CBN particularly their rival noontime shows from Magandang Tanghali Bayan (MTB) to Wowowee and even on ratings game, whereas, he is a former TV host and star on ABS-CBN then before his noontime show “Eat Bulaga” transfer to GMA channel 7.Thus,his guesting on an ABS-CBN show recently at the “The Buzz” was a big surprise for most Filipinos who know him.
According to him on his interview with Ms. Toni Gonzaga on the ABS-CBN show “The Buzz”, he already want to erase the loyalist-type attitude whenever TV station he may be; no more “Kapuso,””Kapamilya”,or “Kapatid” mindset. For according to him, he learned something from being part of almost every TV stations in the Philippines from RPN channel 9 to ABS-CBN channel 2 to GMA channel 7 and now to TV5 channel 5 and realized they are all His’ and all have made him what he is now.
Thus, he is now guesting on an ABS-CBN show no more with a bitter heart and a bad mouth, to promote his latest movie, ”Won’t Last A Day Without You” wherein the movie he is promoting is produced by ABS-CBN by its film production Star Cinema.
This is actually a good step for him to cleanse some of his bad image that have linger on the memories of some Filipino viewers by his badmouthing activities then on public TV, into a renewed and truly wholesome Joey de Leon which is he tries to project since then as a Philippine comedian.
Speaking of badmouthing rival shows on one’s own TV show, a young matinee idol is following this step without a spark of consciousness that it could tainted his sweet and heartthrob image on the Philippine Entertainment industry.
The young famous actor I am talking about is Mr. Richard Gutierrez, who unknowingly spews“fucking” words that will screw up his sweet and heartthrob image on his Reality show “Survivor Philippines” by comparing his show against the rival reality show on other network. The rival reality show he has badmouthed on his own reality show is the Pinoy Big Brother.
Here his statement: “If you want pampering, and total safety join that fucking Pinoy Big Brother! This is survivor!”
He said this to Team Tala on his show “Survivor Philippines”. However, on the second thought, is his statement a part of the script he just acting as an aggressive host on an aggressive show? If so, still the script writers have put Richard Gutierrez on the bad light by speaking up a bad word (“fucking”) against the rival show. But if not since his show is a reality show, it could be his own words, then he is guilty of badmouthing a rival reality show. So far, Richard Gutierrez hasn’t yet commented on this issue.
Actually, badmouthing a rival show on one’s TV show on public is a projection of one’s insecurity on one’s TV show against the rival show on other rival network or TV station, because the rival shows have something that rocks the status quo of one’s show, like TV ratings or public viewership and sponsors.
Badmouthing another rival show is an easy yet bad way to get notice from the public and raise one’s show’s TV ratings or viewership using the high ratings of the rival show through casting something fishy against it.
Quick Ticket To Stardom
“I want to be a star, quick!”, Yes, Sure.
The emergence of internet, especially the video uploading site, particularly YouTube, as well as the reality shows have swamp the Entertainment industry with disposable instant superstars which only last for 1 year or months of stardom wherein every year there is a brand new star and celebrity produced by the reality shows replacing the glittering stardom of the former winners, however some former winners are able to survive the competition and tightly cleaved on their distinct star quality which can never be eclipsed by any new comer emerging from where one also come forth.
In the Philippines, there is a star that was produced by a reality show in the Philippines wherein his star quality remain shining despite of all his successors in the reality show he come forth, that is Mr. Sam Milby. Sam Milby is the top and now very famous star and celebrity that come out from a reality show – Pinoy Big Brother-, according to the survey done among who is the most reality show produced stars that is continually making success in the Philippine Entertainment industry.

Sam Milby
In the other hand, in terms of internet stardom, the only Filipino that emerges as a bigger and even international star resulting from her YouTube videos is of course – Ms. Charice Pempengco. The video uploading site has given her almost fainting star status in the defunct local talent search in the Philippines, a bigger and wider boost.

Charice Pempengco
To summarize, though there are many channels and free platforms today in order to be famous and fabulous, the only thing that remains a star shining is his or her own distinct talent, wherein the new channels and platforms have just given their respective talents to be noticed in a larger and real scale without a lot of scripting and tailoring done in a commercialized talent show.
The Shocking Rustom Padilla a.k.a. Bb Gandanghari
I don’t know but perhaps, it is only in the Philippine showbiz that any handsome and hunk male celebrity or showbiz stars is overtly suspected to be a closet gay. But of course, the accused party is in total denial and show proofs that he is a real man, to cast away doubts and rumors that he might be a gay because this could ruin his precious career and matinee idol image.

Rustom Padilla
However, some matinee idols give in to the rumors and bravely admit that the rumors about him being a gay guy are true. The most recent who do this brave revelation is the former cute hunk matinee idol Rustom Padilla who have shock the entire Philippine showbiz industry when his beautiful big hunky body shrunk into very skinny body complexion when he was interviewed abroad by a showbiz porter of what is now happening to him abroad after his break-up with his former wife Ms. Carmina Villaroel.

Bebe Gandanghari
Many thought, he has caught a disease abroad because of his so very skinny body and was greatly devastated by his break-up with Carmina Villaroel. But there are still lingering rumor that he might be a gay. Actually, both the camps of Rustom Padilla and Carmina Villaroel were interviewed then about if Rustom is gay or not, but both parties never answer straight, until Rustom himself break the mystery when he confessed through the TV program Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition that he is indeed gay and justified his being gay when he said “..hindi ako masamang tao…” (“..i am not an evil person…”,because the Christian church have demonized that gays are inherently evil and sinful creatures. But that doesn’t end the shock of the Philippine showbiz industry on him. He shocks more the Philippine showbiz industry when he finally cross-dress and said he is a woman and ever since he already knew that he is a woman. Moreover, he also personally declared that Rustom Padilla is now dead, he is now Bebe (Bb) Gandanghari – the woman and the real her who is hiding in the body and personage of Rustom Padilla. Recently, it was reported that he is planning or fly abroad for a sex change procedure.
Pangasinan Philippines is well known to Filipinos as the provincial home of the famous tourist attractions in the Philippines, that is, the Hundred Islands or so-called now the Hundred Island National Park. However, these group of islands which they so-called Hundred islands is actually a cluster of more than a hundred and not only 100 hundred islands, as some Filipinos thought they are just 100 in number. But actually, it is already officially announced that these islands are 123 islands and islets all in all. This tourist attraction is located at Alaminos City, Pangasinan at Lingayen Gulf. Most of the native folks at it have legends and myths to tell why Hundred Islands is a scattered group of islands and islets. These myths are the Anita and Akong legend, the Greed Tale, and the Giant’s Tears.

Most of the islands on Hundred Island National Park in the Philippines are not relative in a size that is there are small and there are big. Of course, the small ones cannot be habited but the big ones have beaches to enjoy and picnic adventures for both local and foreign tourist alike. The largest island among them is called the Quezon Island. This island has the well-developed facilities which a tourist could benefit not like to other islands which have none or have some facilities but not like to Quezon Island.
The Quezon Island is the most frequently visited island at Hundred Island National Park. The island has two dining pavilions, a grilling areas, cottages, nipa huts for one to relax, restrooms, etc.
However, aside from Quezon Island in the Philippines, there are other islands also that have facilities but the Quezon Island is the largest. The Governor Island has an accommodation facility if one wanted to stay longer on the island and a Pinoy Big Brother house was erected on it which can be used publicly. The beach shore of this island is said to be best for sunbathing.
The Children’s Island is designed for family get-together especially with little children on the side. For the waters of this island is too shallow that you don’t have to worry for your children to be drown on the beach shore. Thus, it is called ‘children’s island’.
The Lopez Island is said to be a haven for sunbathing activities and its water under it is best for snorkeling.

The Marcos Island is adjacent to Quezon Island and Old Scout Island. This Island is named after former Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos. It is said to be one of the islands that has natural handiworks, for it has three natural mounds in the island itself; a natural helipad and would you imagine a naturally formed mermaids –like statues as if it a mermaids’ island. Moreover, it has rock pathways that lead to different outlets in the islands or vantage points which brings you more to its different angles of it beauty.
