New Pinas Hallucinogenic Drug?
If illegal drugs is hard to contained or even if illegal drugs like shabu, cocaine and the marijuana plant are contain, still similar type of psychoactive drug arises on the surface as a new alternative to induce “cloud 9” on one’s consciousness.
Last year, the Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) of the Philippines have warned the public about the entry of a new hallucinogenic drug called Salvia Divinorum and the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) have snatched the salvia Divinorum plant from who smuggled the plant which the DDB undersecretary said that this Salvia Divinorum came from Mexico abroad. But what wonders me is Salvia Divinorum is a medicinal plant though it is considered a psychedelic plant or a psychoactive plant like marijuana plant and hallucinogenic side effect of it only last 5 minutes.
But anyway, even though the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) have let’s say contained and subdued so-called illegal drugs in the Philippines, still new psychoactive plants (actually there are so many variety of it) formulated into psychoactive drugs will emerge and in usage of the public who desire to uplift their consciousness or want to subdue their depression. For it is obvious that these so-called illegal drugs formulated from a variety of psychoactive plants or psychedelic plants have indeed very good effects on one’s wellness or have medicinal value thus people all walks of life around the world still patronized these drugs formulated from a psycho-inducing plants despite of the scum campaign of all governments of the world to eradicate the use of these drugs because if these drugs or plants have really bad effects why do people still wanted to use them anyway?
The main problem is the abuse of these psychedelic plants that gives a user very bad effects which is of course true that too much of something is wrong even if it is not the use of illegal drugs but on anything.
By the way, there is still no reports so far about Salvia divinorum’s usage in the Philippines though Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) says it has entered the Philippines last year, perhaps the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) have truly done their job to stamp out it proliferation, but what about marijuana and shabu that are still at large and multiplying in the entire Philippines no matter what raids the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) do?
