The Brand New Blames Of PNoy
Blame, blame, blame; excuse, excuse, excuse, is the way the Aquino administration is doing again as it was on his very first days blaming the former administration of this and that, without realizing that the nation will break into two by showing self-conceit. But most intelligent Filipinos laugh only at his empty self-conceit.
This blame and excuse mechanism of his administration have fueled more the Chinese government and the Chinese people into anger and bitterness toward the present Philippine government, wherein the Aquino administration blame the bloody failure of the tourist bus hostage incident at Manila to the Philippine National Police force and to the Media who cover live the incident, though in reality he is the primary responsible for the fiasco; For not only he is the president of the Philippines but also the Commander in Chief of the military and the police force. Thus, not only the Chinese were angry with him but also his fellow Filipinos for his lack of initiative and irresponsibleness.

Hong Kong Rally
How can the trauma of the Chinese people be healed, if PNoy will not step down from his seat as the Philippine president to show that as a leader he made mistake in leading the Philippines to a better path. Shame on him indeed, if he continue to show empty conceit and play blame game.
The Author of the “Pacific Rims” Book
Filipinos got used in a traditional book-launching by either their fellow Filipinos or international foreign author who came here in the Philippines to launch their books in the country, but recently both were merged. That is, a book launching authored by a foreign author but speaking in almost fluent Tagalog language. Is that amazing?

Rafe Bartholomew
This interesting foreign author is a basketball fanatic named Rafe Bartholomew who just got curious about Filipinos success on sports arena who flew in the Philippines last 2005 wherein he created a book entitled “Pacific Rim”, as a proof of his good stay in the Philippines which supposedly to be only 1 year but becomes 3 years.
His book is about Philippine sports, particularly Philippine basketball, being him as a fan of basketball, which was released, not only in the Philippines but also in New York and San Francisco, wherein his book was greatly appreciated and patronized.
Pacific Rim Book
His almost fluent tagalong speech or way of speaking Tagalog language is one of the plus factor why Filipino book lovers were charm and got interested to buy his book wherein his never really disappoint the expectations, thus his book becomes a hit.
A Pageantry of Tears and Cheers
Recently, the Philippines have experience a rare spectacle of mixture of tears and cheers almost within a succeeding days wherein the main audience is the world. What transpires within these days has been a talk of the town not only within the locals of the Philippines but in the world.
The momentous days are as follows:
August 21 – this day is suppose to be a solemn commemoration of the 27th death anniversary of former Philippine senator Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino as well as the reminiscent of the People Power which was spark by his death, when the Philippine beauty pageant wolrd was shock by a news about the sudden death of 2009 Binibining Pilipinas International Melody Gersbach. She died in a car-bus collision accident.

Melody Gersbach
The cheerful reminiscent of what Ninoy have done have been mixed with tears of bereavement for an untimely demise of a Filipina Beauty title holder.
August 23 – this is the day when the Philippines’s image was tainted with shame again by the bloody end of the failed attempt to end the tourist bus hostage drama which took the lives of 8 Chinese nationals and the life of ex-Filipino police officer hostage taker, wherein the Hong Kong government and Chinese people show great disappointment about what have happened; wherein, early hours before the hostage, the Chinese nationals as well as those passengers in the bus have a cheerful disposition seeing that they are bound for a relaxing and peaceful destination somewhere in the Philippines. However, their cheers become traumatic tears of sorrows and grief.

Tourist Bus Hostage
August 24 –On Manila time, Philippine bet for Miss Universe 2010 beauty pageant Maria Venus Raj have managed to be on the top 5 finalist and won the Miss Universe fourth-runner position, which brings great cheers and smile among Filipinos simultaneously with the shame, anger and sorrows Filipinos and Chinese felt about the bloody end of the bus hostage drama in Manila.

Maria Venus Raj
She managed to be in the Miss Universe 2010 pageant despite earlier months she was stripped of her crown as Binibining Pilipinas Universe 2010 because of a confused and attempt to send a genuine document proving she was indeed a pure Filipino citizen. But eventually she indeed able to manage, and still she indeed though her answer to the pageant question,”, major, major” was somewhat laugh of.
Up until these days, the pageantry of tears and cheers on the mentioned days still lingers: Is Nonoy worth voted for a Philippine presidency despite of the “kapalpakan”(clumsiness) that is happening on his first months of administration? Are the Filipino policemen under-trained, particularly on such incident? Is the Philippines still safe for foreign tourists?, and when will the wound or the trauma of the Chinese people and the Hong Kong country be healed against the Filipinos?
Finally, it is proven that a Filipina have still guts to win the Miss Universe pageant despite of some clumsiness along the pageant.
Housing Woes in the Philippines
Housing program is basically a never ending problem in the central point of the Philippine archipelago – Metro Manila Philippines. For it is where all class and types of Filipinos conglomerate into a congesting situation due to Manila is the center of commerce and industry wherein most Filipinos thought to gain a lot of opportunities for them to grow and progress financially and materially, thus squatting is rampant throughout Manila though there are spacious lots in their respective provinces wherein they could own it legally than just squatting which end up their houses being demolished because of lack of legal ownership of the lot or real estate their houses were erected.
However, though there are a lot of real estate communities being developed throughout the Philippines, it is inaccessible and can’t afford by a less learned and financially poor and destitute Filipinos, respectively. Yes, the Philippines then and up to present administration is trying and struggling to form an effective government housing program for the poor Filipinos to solve the congesting problem, basically on Metro Manila and to stop the battle between the lot owners and the Filipinos who love to squat on real estate properties they don’t legally own.

Remains of the Demolished Houses
For every year, there is a struggle between the squatters and the house demolition team that demolished squatting houses on the lot of the real estate owner.
The Philippine government has settled some squatters that become homeless due to the demolition process into a government own house resettlement community which was founded and created by the government itself. However, these free housing programs have not yet solved the squatting problems.

What Went Wrong or the Way is Wrong?
The image of the Philippines in the world has been marred again by what happened on the bloody ending of the recent tourist bus hostage drama that happened at Rizal park, wherein some Hong Kong tourist nationals were greatly affected because some of them have lost their love ones and even have injured greatly by the hostage incident which of course outraged the Hong Kong citizens abroad. Who is the one who will not be outraged by the mishandling of the bus hostage drama that result the injury and death of their innocent fellow citizens? They have indeed a right to show bitterness toward Filipinos because the Filipinos become too irresponsible and clumsy on their treatment of the bus hostage drama.
Hong Kong National

Is the rumor true,PNoy?
Yes, the Filipino police has been so criticized and blame for their lack of effective tactics and schemes to end the hostage drama peacefully which they themselves publicly admit and even of course the New Philippine president –Pnoy- was blame due to as a president he stands as their military and police chief. So what was his directive or command, to kill the hostage taker? Why does the SWAT team decided to use sniper gun to shoot and kill the suspect? Are they doing this without the command of the New Philippine president or by the order of the new Philippine president which is their chief since they see and perceived the hostage taker as a mad police though he was a multi-awarded cop? Is their perception toward the hostage taker –Senior Insp. Rolando Mendoza- as a mad police, the reason why some of his request were not met and was shoot to kill, without considering that there are innocent people inside the bus that will be greatly affected if they kill the hostage taker? If this is so, truly it was indeed the mistake of the Filipino policemen and their Chief PNoy, as was reported that they admitted their failures.

A Tale Of Two Filipino
The assassination of the former Philippine senator Benigno Aquino or widely known as Ninoy on August 21,1983 which result into his sensational death and a commemoration of it up until now, still remains unsolved who really behind his murder wherein the most common suspect is the late former Philippine president Ferdinand E. Marcos because Ninoy was arrested and exile during the Marcos administration because Ninoy was suspected to be one of the mastermind of the destabilization plot during the Marcos administration and that spreads communist or Maoist philosophies which created the formation of different union factions that go against wildly the Marcos Administration then.

Actual Death of Ninoy
But if you look the situation, two Filipinos were victim of this mysterious phenomenon on the Marcos administration: Ferdinand Marcos and Benigno Aquino; which was controlled and played by secret hidden powers then who wanted to control the Philippines’s political situation then to suit their personal agendas. It was suspected that the American elites and the American government then who is behind the fall of two Filipinos which they have played against one another: Filipino against Filipino, which indeed becomes successful. Now the Filipinos hate one another as if a self-hate disease was dropped in the Philippine archipelago during the Marcos administration to drive the Filipino race to hate and kill one another. Now also the Filipinos hate Ferdinand Marcos, their fellow Filipino, their brother who bring good things to the Philippines then before it explodes into chaos in Marcos third administration, as an arch-enemy of Filipino race and as a foreign conqueror who subdue Filipino race under his control and power, whereas it is not.
How come the Filipinos were blinded and celebrate Ninoy’s death against their fellow Filipino brother –Marcos-who was also a victim of undesired scenario then, that is why he declare Martial Law to protect Philippines’ national security then; and that Ninoy was like the ancient Filipino heroes that frees them from a foreign tyrant conqueror without considering that Ferdinand Marcos was their own fellow Filipino which is also a victim of a hidden foreign power play. These secret foreign powers are the real enemies of the Filipino and not their fellow brother in race which was used as a sacrificial lamb beyond Marcos knowing, to push and pursue their personal agendas.

Ferdinand Marcos
Most Filipinos have this mindset: “Love for foreign things and hate their own things”. In short, a colonial mentality still rules in the present Philippines sugarcoat only with the hypocritical Nationalism emotions and thoughts.
Why Flip Flops do not Flop?
Compare to a movie box-office, flip flops sandals do not flop on the box –office rather it is a certified hit for modern day Filipino fashion style, especially for convenient and classy footwear, though the prize of these slippers (but some would not like to call flip flop slippers, don’t know why) are somewhat costly ranging from 100 to 1000 pesos per pair of flip flop. The price range depends on the design and size of it of course.
Flip Flops
The difference only of this kind of slippers to an ordinary slippers and sandals is that it has a comfortable and flexible material where one’s foot will find at ease. Thus, even Filipinos love it too, aside from other races in the planet where flip flops is being sold, especially the Havianas brand. However, not basically all Filipinos have flip flops as their foot statement but other still content of wearing at least good slippers for casual walk within the house yard or on the casual places or on the beach. But those having a flip flop statement; they wear it sometimes in combination with a formal dress get up.
But some who loves flip flop, having a flip flops on your feet is like having an instant foot spa, that is what avid buyers or lovers of this kind of sandal or slippers reason out.
New Resident Diseases
How’s the health of Filipinos doing after back then it was tuberculosis or TB is the top health killer of many Filipinos? Have the Filipinos ‘health improve or degraded downward spirally into untimely death and uncontainable new resident diseases?

TB Prevention Seminar
We are already knew that tuberculosis or TB is no more on the top of the list of serial killers of many Filipinos but its death rate cause by it, was already reduced tremendously, which is a good news that Filipinos already knew the secret to combat it and fight it back.

Philippine Health Secretary
However, because the top health nemesis of Filipinos then have retreated and became just a small time health disease now, a new breed of diseases emerge and mimic the former success of tuberculosis. Guess what, here are the fab four new serial killers:
1. Dengue Disease – As we all knew it, this disease is a yearly health problem among Filipinos which kills mostly the young ones or the children. But the Philippines is fighting back hardly to reduce the rate of health casualty of his reoccurring disease.
2. Cancer, especially Colon cancer – this disease becomes popular because it attacks mostly Filipino celebrities like for example, the late former Philippine president Cory Aquino, actresses like Rio Diaz and Chat Silayan, and actors like Rudy Fernandez and Charlie Davao, and others. What a hip and “it” disease, is not it?
3. Diabetes – Ah, this one is a silent creeper killer. Some people don’t know they have it unless it becomes full blown and the asymptomatic sensation becomes symptomatic. This disease becomes prominent because of the emergence of cakes and sweetie foods serves on modern day Filipinos’ meals and important occasions.
This disease is really sweet, first it lullabies you with “I don’t feel any symptoms, I am okey, let’s enjoy sweet foods to the max”, until it suddenly stabs you and regretfully realize that it was the sweet things that makes your health bitter and sour now.
4. Heart Related Diseases – combine all the fab three new killers plus too much stressful lifestyle, you got this! It is so easy, is not it? Thus, those most hard working Filipinos often got this disease. For their too much focus and dedication on their work, they unknowingly abandon their personal health and to relax and enjoy life, thus they often caught this as a reward for their industriousness. What a bitter reward!
The fab four was brought forth by Filipinos’ modern lifestyle: fast and techy.
Dengue Disease In the Philippines
Annually, the Philippines have been plagued by a dengue disease especially among its young population wherein they are the most inflicted by the disease. The health department of the Philippines have done its best efforts and ways to reduce a dengue outbreak that happens yearly, through spreading awareness among those who are most vulnerable to this disease – the slum or scatters areas in the Philippines – where this originated from and how to control the mosquito carrying dengue disease from laying eggs and multiplying the dengue disease it carries within the archipelago.

Slum Areas
Recently, there are reports or news of Filipinos being inflicted by this disease ,however, its outbreak have been minimized as it was reported that the rates of dengue case today or this year 2010 have been reduced compared to the last years.
The outbreak begins when rainy days in the Philippines starts because that is are the days where streets and any empty unattended or abandon container either on garbage damp or anywhere it is dump was filled with waters which becomes eventually stagnant, thus creating a breeding grounds for mosquitoes to lay their eggs in it. Of course, though one strive to keep it clean and drain all their water containers within their areas, those damp water containers especially on garbage damps near a community are sometimes overlook which causes some dengue cases.
Democracy in the Philippines
Recently, the Philippines celebrated the first death anniversary of a woman they call “Mother of democracy” in the Philippines last August 01, 2010, which is the late former Philippine President Corazon Aquino, who died of colon cancer last August 01, 2009.

Corazon Aquino
Democracy is define in political science as a form of government that is “for the people, and of the people “wherein the “people rules”. However, there is no such completely form of government anywhere you could find in the world; democracy is often only a part of a privileges in either republic system of government or parliamentary form of government, and even on a monarchy because every form or systems of government today in the world seeks the welfare of their own constituents and there is no form of government that exist today that only seeks the welfare of the ruling government officials only treat their people as mere slaves(except only to those who are really corrupting the funds);though their form of government is republic or parliamentary.
For a pure democratic country will not stand in its own pure democratic ways because anarchism and atrocities will prevail, due to everyone is right in its own ways and thinking and every one will pursues his or her own agendas and moralities, thus, a purely democratic country is just a mere illusion.

Philippine Flag
In the Philippines, some mediocre thinking Filipinos are fed up with an illusion that after the Marcos Administrations through a woman whom they call “icon of democracy” in the Philippines – which is late former Philippine president Ms. Corazon Aquino, the Philippines has now become purely democratic country; whereas it is not. Actually, the Philippines still remain republic just like the times of Marcos, but what has happened only or have changed after Marcos administration is the increased of freedom of people to do whatever they wanted to do including the relentless and useless killings of everyone against their fellow Filipinos, most especially the media people, though the media people have gain more freedom to express their ideas and thoughts, murderers and killers have gain also more freedom to kill media people. It is a directly proportional freedom.
Moreover, there is also an increase of murder and massacre crimes in the Philippines wherein still today these form of crimes were not yet totally solved though some cases were filed, like the Visconde massacre, the Nida Blanca case, etc.
Though democracy is the primal priority during the Ms. Aquino Administration, ironically, there are also a number of military coup d’ etats and nationwide brownouts or loss of electricity then, that is because everyone have now more freedom to do whatever they wanted to do and to say whatever they wanted to say. But thanks god, the Philippines is still “check and balance” by the republic form of government that it has still today and not yet totally succumb to totally democratic system of government, lest the Philippines will self-annihilate itself.

Philippine Democracy
However, I do not say that democracy is wrong but too much of it could break down the system because of no major consensus of every aspects of life in the Philippines; too much of it could bring disharmony because everyone will be right on his or her own ways. To solve this dilemma and to use effectively the privileges of democracy in the country, the new Philippine president should, yes, create a portals like public forums to bridge and voice out the ideas and wants of every citizens in the country that will discuss and articulate the advantage and disadvantage of every one’s ideas in order to create a major consensus that will bring peace and harmony in the Philippines.
