Comedy King Meets The Comic President The Two funny guy from two different worlds in the Philippines has met not to laugh at each other (Dolphy at PNoy for PNoy’s political clumsiness and Dophy’s revengeful smile for defeating his political bet Manny Villar; and PNoy for not only Dolphy is the comedy king of the Philippine Showbiz industry but also for “bad-mouthing” him at the political ads of Manny Villar that he is not qualified to be the Philippine president) rather to give honor and respect for one another, which is indeed really bring cheerful smiles to everyone who knows them respectively and personally that politics is not a hindrance to make two opposing parties gave respect and honor to one another. However, Dolphy’s statement that Nonoy gave him “bread” in return or in exchange for casting “stones” against PNoy during the campaign election period is indeed “Pure Showbiz Plasticity”. For it is PNoy’s duty and obligation to give the Grand Collar of the Order of the Golden Heart to any Filipinos who qualifies it whether it may be his friends or his mortal enemies in the Philippines.
PNoy Awarding Dolphy of the Order of the Golden Heart Award
The Grand Collar of the Order of the Golden Heart Award is not given arbitrarily to any one whom the Philippine president whishes to give; For if he do, he will then be bias and the honor award will be corrupted and will lose its nobleness and purity. For the Grand Collar of the Order of the Golden Heart Award have of course qualifications and not all are qualified to receive it, unless the new Philippine president has just made it a personal choice rather than an objective choice. Thus, Dolphy statement, “..I didn’t realize till now that our President was such a good man. I threw Stones at him last election; now he gave me Bread – this award for which I will always be thankful…”, have a mixture of “Philippine Showbizness” and Dolphy’s overwhelmness to be awarded by such great award. Moreover, PNoy is not actually a bad man or bad person rather he is just incompetent to be a Philippine president due to his lack of experience and his comical and self-righteous modes were just brought and influenced by his Catholic belief systems since he was a child.

PNoy Awarding Dolphy of the Order of the Golden Heart Award
Actually Dolphy is indeed worthy for such award, for the Order of the Golden Heart Award is given to either Filipinos or foreigners within the country who “….have rendered distinguished services or give noteworthy monetary or other material aid, encouragement to the campaign for the amelioration and improvement of the moral, social, and economic conditions of the Filipino masses, and for volunteerism in the service of the Filipino masses..”, which Dolphy himself exemplifies not only being a decades of entertainer of Filipinos but also by his fame and wealth gives financial help to less fortunate Filipinos like giving free scholarships to deserving Filipino children.
Filipinos Can’t Win it
Since the first season of the famous reality show –The Amazing Race Asia, Filipinos keep on joining the show in hope to win the coveted prize of the show, however, Filipino racers end up losing always. So, do we have to say “what went wrong?” or the Filipinos just lack “good luck”? For if we say “what went wrong?” we are already showing conceit then or “parang nagbubuhat na tau ng bangko nun”, that we can’t make any mistake or any wrongs because we are well-prepared for the contests which could lead us to winnings. We willfully forget that we are not perfect, thus, this attitude of “I am well prepared” I suspect becomes the stumbling block why Filipino racers on the show can’t win the contests and those underdog and time wasters are the ones blessed with unexpected winnings.

The Amazing Race Asia
For there is the intelligence and resourcefulness, speed and strength, and teamwork among the Filipino racers in order to beat the time, but some former Filipino contestants of the show complained about ending up with bad cab driver that undermines their speed and ability to beat the time. So, what happened is “bad luck”? Even though you are well prepared for the show if you encounter too much hassles or bad luck along the way, your being well preparedness will be wasted away and hijacked. Thus, those other contestants of the show who are not well prepared and well equipped end up stealing the winnings, which supposedly yours.

Filipino Racers
So, why there is a bad luck? I guess one’s attitude in the shows creates one’s won bad lucks along the way. Remember the law of attraction and the law of awareness? When you are expecting, what you are expecting will not manifest or come into reality. But when you are not expecting, what you are not expecting will manifest or come into reality.
Therefore, if you have expectations to win the game, you must not remain stagnant on the thought of expecting; rather embrace it already as if you already won the contest to make it happen. For it is already well proven on every contest that those who do not expect to win (though they expect and wanted also to win the contest but cast out already their thought from remaining stagnant in expecting into not expecting anymore to win) the contest ends up winning; whereas those who always expect do not win.

Marc Nelson and Rovilson Fernandez
Therefore, Filipinos should have also the right attitude in the show in order to step closer to winnings and make the Philippines finally proud.
The Fact-Finding Report
A fact-finding report regarding the hostage drama have already been made, according to Malacanang and there are thirteen personalities including the top three TV networks were blame for the fiasco minus PNoy who supposed to be charged also because he is the Commander in Chief. The fact-finding report gain some protests from the lawmakers but PNoy have ignored the petition of the lawmakers and the opinions of the Filipino public (contradicting his own mandate to serve the Filipino people) and rushed the report to the Chinese ambassador to the Philippines.

Alfredo Lim - one of the accused
PNoy seems to be in on urgent rescue to save the reputation of the Philippines which his own administration have injured, to give a copy of the report first to the Chinese people whom his own administration have injured also. There are lawmakers who opposed this action of him because he is now contradicting his own words to serve the Filipino first, but what can he do? His administration have injured another government, thus he must patch quickly the wound before it explodes and totally wrecked his own administration and the Philippines; poor PNoy. He was maligned that his administration is a student government, a student who is on OJT. As if he is On-the-Job training how to become a good president, for we all see that he is indeed incompetent to be one, yet majority of the Filipino people voted for him. But in fairness, he is doing his best.

PNoy on the report
Now the fact-finding report seems to be bias because he was not included on the ones who are responsible for the fiasco, though he admit publicly that he is responsible for it and were sorry that he and the PNP have made mistake where he seems to renounce what he have said (how the change of mind?), and though obviously he should be included, else he is not the President of the Philippines.
What was actually his orders regarding the incident wherein the accused ones have violated (to justify that he is innocent and not responsible for the fiasco), which give him justice not to be included on the ones to be accused?
Do they violated his seem to be good orders from the very start, thus the blame should not be on him? Or this is just a whitewash and excuse to excuse him and save his reputation and administration? Is his administration sacrificing some accused ones which are close to him so that he will not be included, or will save his administration from shame?
Thus, he says, “My first obligation is to the people, not to friendship, relatives or party men”.
Really PNoy? If so, why do you appoint close friends, relatives and fellow party colleagues as your cabinet members? And what about the fact-finding report which did not show first to the Filipino public but hurry to show it first to the Hong Kong Chinese government?
PNoy is starting to eat his own words, day by day of his administration. Let’s wait for another eating back what he has already spewed out.
Pinoy Gay Designer
If women excel outside the shackles of command of men, so also their clone – the gay ones excel also.
Similar to what women has been experiencing under men’s authority and religious groups who discriminate womankind as a base sex, so also the gays or homosexuals experience the same. How have straight men and religious groups becomes so narrow-minded and intolerant to their fellow humans which also felt pain and sufferings like they do, or are they just brainwash in their thinking that they are superior beings and what their religious scriptures teaches them against woman and gays, respectively, that is why they act as if not human in forms and shapes their bodies beholds? Or are they just very insecure that outside their control and power against women and gays, the race (women and homosexuals) they hate excel beyond larger than life which they could not imagine?

Gay Rights Flag
Not only free women excel in their respective careers today but also homosexual and gays like we have known and become famous. Now recently, a new Pinoy gay designer has been making a big name in the London Fashion Week, being him as the first Pinoy or Filipino designer there and even more a first gay Filipino international designer. The London Fashion Week is fashion gala show that is held twice a year in London.
Now, this Fillipino gay designer is known from where he works as Furne One where his real name is Fernando and originally born in Cebu Philippines, where he will come home to grace his own gala for his designs he created at London Fashion Week or a collection of his designs that will be held this October 2010 at Makati Shangri-ala at Rizal’s Ballroom.

Furne One
Furne One also won the recently concluded 11th Annual Miami Fashion Week for the Designer Choice Award wherein he surpass all foreign designer nominees for that designer award giving body which is really a wow for a Filipino gay like him. Furne One also works with another famous Filipino international designer – Ms. Josie Natori- for her Natori Company after he won again the first Mega Magazine Young Designers Competition wherein one of the judges is Ms. Josie Natori; wherein from there he was able to enter or work at The Natori Company.

Ms.Josie Natori
Furne One is currently working now at Dubai where he designs and makes clothings for wealthy Arabic women in Dubai which indeed according him, gains him many datung or money.
Truly, there are no weaker beings as some bullshit religious groups were trying to indoctrinate and teach their ignorant followers, but all have the abilities that can be nurtured for everyone to excel and be on the top.
The Girls’ Fight
Women as we all know are perceived to be weak being in our society, especially on religious societies, however, in the advent of new evolved ideas and belief system, former religious beliefs toward women are already considered barbaric and inhumane in their essence and promote sexual discrimination and prejudice.
Today’s modern women are already equal in status with men, though there are still religious groups that adhere to the barbaric and inhumane way in treating women race. Thanks to the brave women’s groups today and to those who could sympathized with the woman race that continually fight for the rights of a woman in our discriminating society; and the girls’ fight continues to punch and kick men and other religious groups who maltreated womankind.

A Girls'Fight
Now, not only in basketball sports, women show equal strength and ability with men, but also now in boxing sports showing their female muscles and punches which really intimidates men race, particularly the male chauvinists ones.
There are numerous women in basketball sports who made a name for themselves in competition with men, so also in boxing sports like the Philippines own pride, the world woman boxing champ Ana Julaton.
Ana Julaton, is said to be a true blooded Filipino though she grew up mainly on the United States and have limited orientation on Filipino language; her parents were natives of Pozorrubio, Pangasinan Philippines. But his father according to her was more inclined to be a true American in his ways and manners though he was born Filipino or should I say perhaps her father’s parents are foreigner or American. But her mother according to her is truly pure Filipino inclined.

Ana Julaton
Ana Julation was dubbed as “the Hurricane” for her 10 professional fights in the women’s boxing arena which indeed gave her popularity abroad just like Manny Pacquio but with less popularity in the Philippines. She just got popular in the country when she visits the Philippines and was popularized in the local media to give some informational background to the Filipino audience who never knew her of who she is.
The secret of her success is somewhat reflected on what she said that when she is in the boxing ring, she treated her opponents without mercy, as what her mom motivate her to be while she was in a fight in the ring. Truly, that kind of motivation is kind of bullish which really intimidates real men to touch her.
Proof of a Guilty President?
Has the new Philippine president never knew that “haste make waste”, or he is just in a hurry lest he will ate again his promised of “change” and swallow alive his own pride and self-righteousness attitude that he alone have the competence to lead the Philippines into a right way or what he calls “daang matuwid”.
Has being hasty on all dealings proved very successful governance? If so, what does he call the eventualities of the disaster bus hostage drama last August 23, 2010?
I bet, he is indeed the one responsible for the killing of the hostage taker in an attempt to “hasten up” the ending of the bus hostage drama that is already becoming time-consuming and time annoying on his busy hectic schedule? Thus, as a commander in chief, he demands a hasty handling of the hostage because he does not wanted to be equated with the shams and negative publicity of the former administrations? For the former administrations were slow as a turtle in progressing government deals, disasters, and probes. Oh, what a competent and perfect president is he?! What were his achievements for the past decades of his life, can he name it? Or blame again his disappointments to others? Ah, a collection of guns which he recently boast and proud of.

Noynoy PNoy
I bet, military and police officers who are in charge for the incident were afraid to incur and imply the Philippine president as the prime responsible for the fiasco. As usual, those in lower commands are the ones being sacrifice as sacrificial lambs for the sins and mistakes of those in higher ranks. Is there a true change PNoy or just a messy rehash of trapo style of governance?
This is what I hate to this new Philippine president, he do not knew how to be truly humble despite that he already knew that he doesn’t knew yet about governance but speak arrogantly in public as if he is all knowing and all perfect Filipino that is perfect to be the President of the Philippines, whereas he is not. He better trims this not so good attitude of him and works humbly and stops talk and talk against someone or complain and complain that this and that is the mistake of the former administrations which is already annoying.
How has the Filipino flop again in voting a truly competent and benevolent president?
Fantasy Series on Philippine Primetime Television
Before, a fantasy series is just a one episode on a particular child TV programs on either very early morning slot or early evening slot on Philippine TV programming which are only meant for a kiddie audience, but the success of “Marina” – the very first fantasy drama series put on a primetime slots which really gain a high ratings – have changed the landscape of Philippine primetime programming wherein every primetime slots of major TV networks in the Philippines (namely ABS-CBN channel 2,GMA Channel 7 ,and TV5 Channel 5) have one or more fantasy drama series in their respective primetime programming which boast not only the strong plot but also the special effects they use on every scenes.

Dyesebel
Both Filipino adult and children enjoy watching these fantasy dram series (the proof is the high ratings of this kind of TV programs) as an alternative to the surge of drama series which have only a repetitive story plots which flooded the primetime TV slots of Philippine TV before fantasy dram series emerged into the slots of primetime programming.
The rise of fantasy drama series in the Philippine television was heavily influenced by the fantasy and sci-fi (science fiction) movies being produced by Hollywood or foreign film outpits which do really hit the box-office and gain profits from producing them. This inspires the Filipino writers to do the same thing on their primetime TV slots to compensate for the growing needs of Filipino audience for an alternative TV viewing, than intoxicate Filipino audience with too much drama series and news programs. It is also a way to balance their TV programs.

Darna
Among the best fantasy drama series ever produced for Philippine TV aside from “Marina”, were “Mulawin”, ”Lobo”, ”Engkatadia” ,”Ang Panday”, ”Dyesebel”, ”Lastikman”, and “Darna”. However, there are a lot more fantasy drama series produced but they are more kiddie in style.
Vanity Kit of Filipino Men
Beautifying oneself is not exclusively for women of course, but men do have the right to do so but it is just it is not the favorite topic of men because they may look gayish if it is openly talked about. Furthermore, beautifying oneself is not always perceive as a vain thing but also a personal hygiene and personal responsibility to take care oneself wherein the reward is one’s handsome, beautiful, and gorgeous appearance or look, just like gorgeous men and women of the Philippines.

Barber in the Philippines
Their secrets of being beautiful is not actually a secret, it is just a good personal hygiene. According to an online survey, most Filipino men like their female counterpart, uses also natural shampoos and soaps for their hair and body, respectively. The most natural shampoo and soap brand they often use is the Palmolive Natural Shampoo and Soap, but some use the Ascend Natural Shampoo brand and Vicky Bello’s natural soap, particularly the Papaya one.
In terms of facial care, most Filipino men use the Cetaphil brand for their acnes and pimples and facial cleanser as well; but some also use Master Eskinol brand as their facial cleanser. Only few rich Filipino men go to facial centers for ultimate facial care because it is quite expensive.
However, Filipino men do go to parlors not only for haircuts but also for manicures and pedicures; even some go to foot spa for their feet.
Filipino men are also conscious of their boy figure wherein some have regimens in the gym, those who can afford it only.

Men's Health Philippines
These are just a handful of vanity products and regimens which most Filipino men use to beautify themselves. For there are some vanity products where rich Filipino men use which an ordinary Filipino men could not afford and not basically available on a local consortium market where most ordinary Filipino men have access to.
The Rise of Mediocracy in the Philippines
“Everyone wants to rule the word” – This famous statement have marred the good image of late former Philippine president Ferdinand E. Marcos and wreck his administration and ruined his excellent vision for the Philippines. Yes, this over-maligned and defamed former Philippine president was indeed a good and very bright man. He was never a dictator or an evil man contrary to the rumors spread by the mediocre ones and the press media in the Philippines, just like what the mediocre ones and press media doing against former Philippine president Gloria Arroyo today; even former Philippine president Joseph “erap” Estrada was a victim of his own mediocratic principle.

Ferdinand E. Marcos
Actually, late former Philippine president Ferdinand Marcos was elected three times as the President of the Philippines for his commendable achievement and by his high-class visions for the Philippines. But this was ruined by the infiltration of a Communist or Maoist thoughts and ideologies brought by the Cold War then (but I suspect it was the international business elites who do this, see my succeeding paragraph below),which created the creation of a numerous “leftist” and vigilantes groups today who pursue a radical change in the government base on the Communist principle; one of the active communist group that still exist today beginning at the Marcos Administration is the New People’s Army or NPA.
These ‘leftist’ groups become so rampant and wild on the Marcos Administration then (because that was their beginnings or birth in the Philippines) which spreads lawlessness (such as disrespectful to the authorities) and vandalistic attitude that threatens the good security and economic status of the Philippines then, which forces former late Philippine president Ferdinand Marcos to impose Martial Law to counter these threats and save the Philippines from being overtaken by Communism and anarchic principles. Thus, because of these threats and the cluelessness of the Marcos administration of who is behind this destabilization plot and demolition job to overthrow the present Philippine government, resort into arresting leaders of the alleged Communist groups and torture them to speak out who is behind the spread anarchism, vandalism, and destabilization plot against the present reigning Philippine administration, and one of the person arrested is Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino because Ninoy repeatedly criticized the Marcos administration without any very solid evidence about his accusations. Thus he was suspected to have a connection to the mastermind or even one of the masterminds of the destabilization plot and demolition job.
Was Marcos wrong in containing these anarchic threats? Or was his ways of containing it wrong?
Furthermore, not only Communism and anarchy creeps in on Marcos third administration but also disloyalty and corruption of his cabinet members flourish beyond his control, which created the “corruption thought” today in the Philippine politics on Cabinet members.
Is the infiltration of Communism and corruption of his cabinet members a POWER PLAY? To destabilize his good governance and to dis-empower him because of the insecurities of the mediocre ones and the revenge of the Foreign Businesspersons then, especially Chinese ones against Marcos plans to transfer foreign ownership of businesses in the Philippines to the Filipinos and they use the mediocre Filipino then to stir up chaos and communism, so that their businesses will not be transferred to the Filipinos?

Ferdinand Marcos
Is the International Business Community, the Mastermind of destabilization plot and demolition job to destroy the Marcos Administration and to destroy Marcos among the mediocre masses, respectively to suit their personal agendas and to build a Philippine government which they could control?
The downfall of a good leader is the rise of Mediocracy in the Philippines, a.k.a “People Power”, perpetuated by the International Business Elites to suit their personal business agendas and to oust out Marcos using the mediocre Filipino mass.
I pity much Marcos, because he was not justified and acknowledged for what he have done good to the Filipinos in his past administrations but remembered as useless and evil Philippine president ever live. This is definitely INJUSTICE.
Is “People Power” worth remembering against a former good leader?
*Note: This Article about Ferdinand Marcos was submitted by one of the writers that work for ThePhilippines.ph, it does not neccessarily reflect the opinions of ThePhilippines.ph, we however believe it is a good starting point for discussing, so fire away
Causes of Illegal Drugs in the Philippines
There are numerous forbidden drugs not only in the Philippines but also on different parts of the world; the reason they are forbidden because they bring harmful effects on the normal functioning of our cellular bodies, if taken or if taken excessively. But there are also drugs which have similar effects in the drug market yet they are not forbidden but legally sold, use and prescribe like the chemically made anti-depressant drugs, wherein taken excessively could result either into brain damage, insanity (increased anxiety and restlessness condition),suicidal tendencies, or even coma or death.

PDEA Philippines
The effect of an anti-depressant drug is similar of the effects of the widely known illegal drugs: shabu, cocaine, and marijuana. These drugs do also cast away depression and stress from your cellular bodies, thus making one tune in a happy disposition and stronger-like feelings. The effects are the same, but these drugs are the most hated in the world, but mysteriously why? However, the marijuana is already accepted as part of legally used drug in some other parts of the world. But in the Philippines it is not yet accepted.
Even though there are stronger efforts of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency or PDEA to eliminate the selling and use of illegal drugs in the Philippines, particularly shabu and marijuana, still the Filipinos keep on selling and using it, secretly. And why is it so?
Actually, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency or PDEA just only cut and cut grasses when they become overgrown but never uprooted them so that the grasses will not grow again, yet they arrogantly boast they do everything to eliminate the forbidden selling and using of the illegal drugs in the Philippines. I think, they have overlooked the main cause of the use and selling of Illegal drugs in the Philippines or do they deliberately ignore the main causes because they too benefitted from the Illegal drug trade?

Burning 151 kg of illegal Drugs
For me, there are three main causes or roots why Filipinos keep on using and trading these illegal drugs, that is,:
1. Poverty and Financial Destituteness – A very poor Filipino with less education and knowledge will be force to participate or sell these illegal drugs because of the large amount of money they could profit from it. For they do not have sufficient skills to apply on a specific job neither have money even to go to a vocational school in order to gain skills for a specific job.
2. Increased rate of Unemployment and Lower salary compensation – This is due to unmatched skills to vacant or available jobs, and if one Filipino could find a job, the salary compensation is very low and even though there is a demand for an increase, their employer seems deaf. So the resort would be to find any job that could compensate them well or have a higher amount of income to sustain sufficiently the daily needs of their family as well as for themselves.
3. Depression – It has many causes, namely of course poverty, unemployed status, poor income, family conflicts, conflicts on romantic relationships, poor spiritual lifestyle, etc. Thus, some Filipinos in order to combat the debilitating depressive mood will resort to an anti-depressant drug.

Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency at Work
For me, if the Philippines, especially the Philippine president will focus on these three causes, not only illegal drugs will voluntarily uproot itself but also some crimes.
