The proposed new bill will amend the former bill on AIDS (the Republic Act No.8504 or the Philippine AIDS Prevention and Control Act of 1998) and will have a comprehensive monitoring program that will check the spread of HIV and will fine Php.30, 000 and will be jail for five years those people who discriminate and despise HIV-AIDS sufferers for those people who love to discriminate hinders HIV-AIDS sufferers to come into open and seek help, support and medication for it. Moreover, the new bill on AIDS will also punished two year imprisonment for people who spread wrong or misleading information about HIV and AIDS and its control and prevention; and will suspend one’s professional license if one is a professional or business license if one is a businessman or have own business
