Dressing
Any job that uses an array of computers in a workplace and the workers works either on night or graveyard shift wearing headsets will be mistakenly considered as a call center job, for this is how the business processing outsourcing (BPO) or call center business job is known for. Any desperate job-seeker will be fooled by this kind of set-up and by a job advertisements such as “Wanted: Male/Female experience online chatter”, only to find out that one have applied for is a “cyber sex” job on the orientation day of the work. There are many such kind of jobs in the Philippines today wearing the dress of a BPO business in order their illegal sexual activity operation will not be mistaken as “cyber sex”.
The applicant is ask either to be a sex model or to pretend as one of their sex models in their sex websites to get money from a sexually horny customers that will visit their sex websites. The modes of getting money from an online horny customers is to have a sex chat and sometimes the horny customers have a live sex video in full nakedness while doing sexual acts. The money is then sent through a selected credit cards and debit cards providers wherein the job applicant only gets a mere commissions for doing a sex chat rather than being conventionally compensated similar to a regular legal jobs.

BPO and Cyber Sex Commonality
Even though the job applicants already know the nature of this kind of job, one is still tempted to do it because of their alluring weekly commissions of more than 20,000+ pesos weekly and hide their jobs behind the image and name of BPO. Thus, those who do not know nor are ignorant what BPO job is or what is a call center job is, perceived BPO job or call center job as a cyber sex job because of the commonality of the work:
(1) Using internet
(2) Chatting with the clients or customers, sometimes using a headset
(3) Working at night or graveyard schedule
(4) An array of computers per worker on the workplace.
And because of these commonality, the real BPO industry just got incensed and now are making their distinction from such misconception of the some ignorant Filipinos regarding a call center job by asking the Business Processing Association of the Philippines (BPAP) and the Commission on Information and Communication in the Philippines to condemn cyber sex dens who are using the name and the image of BPO through raiding their false BPO workplaces and arrest those behind these illegal sex jobs.
But despite of all the efforts of eradicating cyber sex dens, this modern evolution of prostitution still continues to soar and outsoar the real outsourcing business because of its less requirements in application and high paying commissions for such a sexual negotiations online.
The number of Business Processing Outsourcing companies in the Philippines seemingly in direct proportion of the number of cyber sex dens disguising as Business Processing Outsourcing company wherein even though there would be and there is a crackdown regarding the fake BPOs, surely as the number of new Business Processing Outsourcing (BPO) is increasing in number, the number of fake BPOs also increases. This is so because it rides on the popularity and good image of the Business Processing Outsourcing Company. Thus, for as long as the Business Processing Outsourcing companies is still on the top of source of jobs for Filipinos, the fake Business Processing Outsourcing groups or cyber sex groups will continue to use this good image of the real Business processing Outsourcing (BPO) companies to lure and seduce many uninformed Filipinos to join their illegal sexual activities.
