Sexual Domestic Violence

Before there were cases of rape against young women outside their houses or before there were cases of rape perpetrated or done outside marriage and elsewhere either by group of drug addicts or gangs or by single person alone; now there is a full blown decline of such cases but has become full blown rather on their own homes which should be their den of protection against lingering rapist in the streets but their homes had become now the den for committing rapes and other domestic sexual violence. Moreover, what replace the rape outside respective homes are the rape cases against fellow males, but just rarely.

Recent reports presents a great number of increase, according to the 2008 National Demographic Health Survey that one among five among Filipino that ranges from age 15 to 49 has been reported to had experienced physical and sexual domestic violence by their husbands and their own father( for children being sexually abused)
“From 2006 to the present, there has been a constant increase, In 2011 there were 12,948 reported cases, up from 4,954 in 2006 – a rise of more than 150 percent – the PNP Women and Children’s Protection Centre (PNP-WPC) noted. From January to April of 2012, 5,629 cases have been reported. ..The 2008 National Demographic Health Survey estimated that one in five Filipino women between the ages of 15 and 49 had experienced physical violence, while 14.4 percent of women have been physically abused by their husbands….”

Unfortunately, the department in the Philippines that should protect women and children is clueless why domestic violence happens according to chairperson of the Democratic Socialist Women of the Philippines (DSWP), Elizabeth Angsioco. The Democratic Socialist Women of the Philippines is a national federation of women’s grassroots communities in the Philippines that protects the rights of women; but some quite or not quite similar to party list group Gabriela, as well as to Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) that seeks welfare of anyone in the Philippine society but most of all women and children.

The Department of Social Welfare and Development or DSWD had nothing also to do about it or just clueless why it happens despite there is an enforcement of the Philippine Republic Act (RA) 9262, known as the Violence Against Women and their Children Law, which was passed in year 2004.For if this government department – the Department of Social Welfare and Development or DSWD- and as well as these Non-government organizations or NGOs like the Democratic Socialist Women of the Philippines and the party list group Garbriela really acts and enforce what their department and organization is purpose of, why still sexual violence and domestic violence still happens and rules and increases in number? Is the Department of Social Welfare and Development or DSWD just wasting government funds or just secretly corrupting it and doing the Noynoy thing – as they call it, “Noynoying” – and since this social department in the Philippines is under the wings of protection of Noynoy, thus it is not scrutinize but spare and whitewash in the public to be working hard as Noynoy himself though his hypocrisy and lies is already blatant and apparent still says the opposite what the thinking public sees about his public acts. Great hypocrite is he, why he scrutinize or examine the irregularities on his own management which is already apparent and obvious?

“Yes, there is an increase in reported cases, but we cannot say why. Part of it may be a natural development due to the increased awareness of the laws meant to protect women,” admitted by chairperson of the Democratic Socialist Women of the Philippines (DSWP), Elizabeth Angsioco.

Ironically, “…Since the legislation was passed (the Philippine Republic Act (RA) 9262, known as the Violence Against Women and their Children Law) , the number of cases of reported intimate partner violence has been steadily increasing, from 218 in 2004 to 9,021 in 2011. Violations of RA 9262 make up the largest component of reported acts of violence against women (VAW), including rape, sexual assault, and physical injury…”

Actually, the Philippine Republic Act (RA) 9262, known as the Violence Against Women and their Children Law, is a law that protects the welfare of women and children in the Philippines from all forms and sorts of violence of violation of their human rights.”… . It broadened the definition of abuse to include physical, emotional and economic harm. It also made violence by an intimate partner (anyone with whom a woman has a sexual relationship) a public crime, and made it possible for anyone -not just the victim – to file a case against a perpetrator….”

In concurrence, the World Health Organization also agree to the increasing number of level of sexual violence in the Philippines and described it to be of serious concern to ponder about,”… The World Health Organization described the level of sexual violence in the Philippines as ‘a serious cause of concern’..”.

However, the authorities in the Philippines said in contrast that they are doing some measures to avert and combat the violation of the Philippine Republic Act (RA) 9262, known as the Violence Against Women and their Children Law,but they deem it to be of personal matters for the Philippine police do not see themselves as marriage council that repairs marriage or relationship that had marred or broken; but yet these Philippine police as if willfully forget or just oblivious that there are cases of the Philippine Republic Act (RA) 9262, known as the Violence Against Women and their Children Law which need their attention or which require their intervention and authority.

“..The authorities have taken a number of measures, mainly gender-sensitive interventions, to encourage women to come forward…..“Before the law [RA 9262], domestic violence was seen as a private issue. Some [police] officers were confused about their role and would reconcile couples,”

However, some senior competent Philippine police knew their roles in pertaining to such cases but some neophyte or even oldies doesn’t knew their roles regarding the implementation of Philippine Republic Act (RA) 9262, known as the Violence Against Women and their Children Law.

But actually, the Philippine National Police or PNP in 2007 had constructed Women and Children Protection Centres or WCPC to protect women and children or house them in these centers which shoulders their welfare. There are already 1,800 Women and Children Protection Centres or WCPC in the Philippines or across the Philippines archipelago and 3,038 policewomen stationed on these centers which houses women and children that has undergone abuses like sexual abuse and domestic violence.

“..The PNP established Women and Children Protection Centres (WCPC) in 2007 to deal with crimes involving the exploitation and abuse of women and children. There are now more than 1,800 such centres throughout the country, staffed by 3,038 policewomen trained in the laws that protect women, such as RA 9262, and gender sensitivity. Some police stations have been equipped with child-friendly interview rooms for minors, and pink interview rooms for women…”.

But despite the Philippine National Police or PNP has done a solution to handle cases that violates the Philippine Republic Act (RA) 9262, known as the Violence Against Women and their Children Law, still there is still lacking on their part for according to them volumes of cases that violates the Philippine Republic Act (RA) 9262, known as the Violence Against Women and their Children Law is continually increasing and their stationed policewomen are reported to to overworked since they lack more staffs and police to do and handle and manage each cases from the violation of the Philippine Republic Act (RA) 9262, known as the Violence Against Women and their Children Law.

“…Despite these measures there are still huge challenges, including a shortage of staff to handle the volume of cases. Some police stations are not open 24 hours a day, and most policewomen take on additional functions, such as community relations, apart from handling the women’s desk. “These policewomen are overworked and we are understaffed,….. Of the 140,000 PNP personnel, only an estimated 15,600 are women…”

According to chief of the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW), NharleenSantos-Millar, which is on the Policy Development and Advocacy Division, said that since the passage of the Philippine Republic Act (RA) 9262, known as the Violence Against Women and their Children Law, there are volumes of convictions but find it hard to manage each one.

“…Since the passage of RA 9262, there have been a number of convictions, but getting the exact numbers would involve the arduous task of going to individual Family Courts, said Santos-Millar. The systematic compilation of data lags behind and means the success of the measures to protect women and children cannot be accurately monitored…”

In 2009,according to Amnesty International ( a human rights watchdog),published their reviews regarding the implementation of the Philippine Republic Act (RA) 9262, known as the Violence Against Women and their Children Law, said the major problems why there is an increasing volumes of cases regarding the violation of the Philippine Republic Act (RA) 9262, known as the Violence Against Women and their Children Law in the Philippines is because there is no visible near legitimate and Philippine National Police authorized police stations on each women and children that has been abuse and strip out their rights on the Philippine Republic Act (RA) 9262, known as the Violence Against Women and their Children Law, on which they could report with and that will help them in their abused condition thus they endure rather their abuse condition; and this is the deterrent for rising volumes of human rights violation regarding the Philippine Republic Act (RA) 9262, known as the Violence Against Women and their Children Law.

However, the Philippine National Police in response to the reviews and report of Amnesty International which is an international human rights watchdog last year 2009 made an action to end the deterrence and bridge the gap between women and children from far away or remote areas in the Philippines that has suffered sexual violence and domestic violence or has experience the violation of their rights which was stapled, enclosed or protected under the Philippine Republic Act (RA) 9262, known as the Violence Against Women and their Children Law.

The solution or response the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW), Philippine National Police or PNP and other government offices have done is setting up what they call Violence Against Women (VAW) desk on every barangay in the Philippines.

“….In response, the PCW and other government offices rolled out guidelines in 2010 for the establishment of a VAW desk in every barangay, the smallest government unit. As of December 2011, out of the 42,025 barangays in the country, 27,705barangays (or 66 percent) have set up a VAW desk….”

But really unfortunately, some cases are not being solved because of the ingrained mindset on every Filipinos that ..”… Men think it’s part of being a man, women think it’s part of being in a relationship,” according to dismayed Non-Government Organization or NGO in the Philippines – Knowledge Management Officer of the Women’s Crisis Centre.

Or that is the culture in the Philippines that Men in a relationship should rule over and the Women just a mere below them, thus breeding more domestic violence and generating volumes of violations of the Philippine Republic Act (RA) 9262, known as the Violence Against Women and their Children Law.

According to Tet Balayon of the Knowledge Management Officer of the Women’s Crisis Centre,”.. There is too much tolerance for violence in our culture (Philippine Culture)..” which is seconded by NharleenSantos-Millar, chief of the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW), Policy Development and Advocacy Division.

“Violence against women is a societal concern. Everyone needs to be sensitized – judges who think they need to save the family no matter what, communities who pressure women to stay with their abusive husbands – you can’t undo a mindset like that overnight,”

In my concluding opinion, I guess why such dangerous mindset of some Filipinos regarding the status of Filipino men and Filipino women in the relation is mostly affected by their respective belief system or by their respective religions; in Christianity and Muslim the women are regarded a low and needs to be subjected under the ruling of their husbands; and these two religions are predominantly ruling the Philippine religions.

Therefore, the Department of Social Welfare and Development or DSWD of the department of the Philippine is totally nonsense and do nothing but just receiving government funds pocketed by its current secretary and wasting government funds yet not scrutize and examine for corruption and irregulaties by the greatest hypocrite of the Philippines Noynoy Aquino, but rather protected it and spare it.

If this current Philippine is for reforms as he braggartly reports and after corruption in the Philippines why he scrutinize and examine the Department of Social Welfare and Development or DSWD if it does its part; in this article of mine, this department is useless but other government offices of the Philippines are the ones being active whereas the burden of action is upon this useless department which continually being funded instead of abolishing this useless department. What does it does to protect women and children being abused of their human rights? Nothing as in, for the domestic violence regarding women and children’s rights still continues and there is no mention of its cooperation.

Undas

A colonial Spanish Christianity inspired tradition of visiting the dead is what the annual Filipino “undas” is all about. A heritage of the elite religious colonial powers preserve diligently by a religious sheeples is what it resonates on this religious tradition of the predominant Christian Philippines celebrated or observed on either three(3) days : October 31 ( the pre-observance),November 1 ( the day of observance itself) and November 2 ( the post observance).Since the Philippines is a predominant Christian in religion, most often than not, ”undas” have become falsely attributed as a pure original Filipino tradition and culture which every religious sheeple Filipinos can’t let go because they have already assimilated it on their own Filipino sheeple-programmed blood and non-concurrence of it would mean disrespect to the dead and disobedience to god. Thus, any Filipino would not concur is cast on the bad light and labeled “godless” by some majority of spiritually illiterate common mass of Filipinos. Some will deny it but it is indeed true.

Inherited colonial tradition is more cherished, love, hallowed (making it official Holiday) and preserved than Filipinos own spiritual tradition. This is how majority of all Christian-believing Filipinos whether academically professionals or not are cheated of their own true spiritual heritage because most of them are not inclined to spirituality; or they might be inclined to but already tainted with Christian concepts like most of the so-called Filipino spiritual books in the book market today.

Furthermore, Christian tradition of “All Saints’ Day” and “All Souls Day” are not the only colonial religious tradition that have successfully subdued the spiritual mindset of majority modern Filipinos today in times of “undas” or during October 31- November 2, but also the concepts of Halloween have creep in and ingrained on the spiritual life and culture of every modern Filipinos. This is so because most Filipinos do not value much true spirituality but Fake junk spirituality instead, for some thought spirituality is just a mere religiosity; worshipping and serving god, obeying the commandments of god, doing what is good in order to go to ‘heaven”, etc.

But spirituality is not that or it is not religion, this is where most common mass of Filipinos fall short in terms of spirituality. Thus, most common mass of Filipinos can be manipulated and controlled spiritually. This is how base is the modern culture of Filipinos in regards to their spiritual status.

The most important aspect of life is not valued by most modern Filipinos because Filipinos were cheated by organized religion like Christianity and Islam in their spiritual growth and status, due to either they are illiterate to it or have no inclinations about it. However, only few Filipinos seek true spirituality without the Jesus-thing.

“Undas” is just one of the colonial inspired religious traditions being preserved diligently by modern Filipinos aside from it, there is Christmas, Fiesta (Feasts of the Catholic Saints), etc.
Modern Filipinos have lost their spiritual identity indeed.

Hate Crimes

On Gays and Non-Gays

Hate Crimes? They are crimes motivated by a just mere bias motivated hatred and disgust toward either single person or a group of people. Hate crimes in the Philippines sometimes hide in the guise of crimes so-called “Summary execution” just only to show to the public that the helpless dead victim[s] was or were bad people deserving to die in the hands of an indignant vigilantes, which is indeed unfair to the dead victim[s].Moreover, these killings were not investigated by the Philippine government itself, as if the government have connivance to these “hate crimes” and have unjust and unfair conclusive judgment that the dead victim[s] might just be “bad person”;thus, dismissing lightly to probe it and do a detailed investigation regarding the crimes.

These hate crimes is most prevalent among the lesbian and gay community in the Philippines where gays are the main victims of such unjust criminal act and the government do nothing about it, for the hypocrite religious sector of the society (largely, Christianity and Islam) have preconditioned the mindset of the people that gays and lesbians are evil and sinful people that needs not to be respected and treated fairly as human because “God says so” which consequently the foolish government do nothing about it for the government subscribe too to this evil religious propaganda against the third sex.
According to a report, only this year, there are already 28 cases of hate crimes against LGBT Filipinos but the government is not doing anything about it because of the religious stigma cast against LGBT community by the hypocrite religious sector of the society. Since 1996, according to LGBT Hate Crime Watch there are already 103 cases of hate crimes that resulted to gruesome deaths and the number still continue growing.

Tang Ina Sa mga NagTatangHina sa Mga bakla!

Tang Ina Sa mga NagTatangHina sa Mga bakla!

“The brutalities done to the murdered LGBT Filipinos are also suggestive that they were victims of hate crime. Thirty-six of the victims were stabbed multiple times. Twenty of them died of gunshots. Six were tortured before they were killed. Others were raped, or killed with a blunt object, or suffocated, or dismembered, or burned alive,”

Such example of these heinous hate crimes against LGBT Filipinos is the case of the trial judge of Laog City Philippines who was found lying in a pool of his own blood with his head almost decapitated with semen found on his anus. Another example is the University of the East gay professor Winton Lou Ynion was stabbed 40 times by an unknown homophobic assailant.

Admit or not, it is the religious sectors in the Philippines (not only in the Philippines) that shapes the mindset of the society and that influence the government’s own constitution though there is a concept that church and state should be separated. For government officials make an oath on a religious book or scripture like the Bible and Koran during their oath-taking ceremony before they seat on a government office they are voted for by the people to seat. Moreover, what about the prayers to God before starting an event, a ceremony, a session, a class, breakfast or any meal; the state and the church beliefs are united here. The concept that Church and State should be separated is not actually in effect; it is just a mere deceitful cover-up to hide the reality on the society and to brainwash unsuspecting mass.

Hate crimes were really indeed brought by a respective religious orientation on how one will perceive and treat other people in the society. Actually, the Bible of Christianity is filled with racism that teaches to hate non-Jewish nation as well a great Hatred and fury against one single being the Christians and Muslims alike called “Satan”. That is just a tip of the iceberg of the hate crimes promotes and advocates by the respective “gods” of these two major world religions.

If organized religions in the world like Christianity and Islam are really religion that promotes peace and love for humanity, why history is filled with religious wars headed by Christianity and Islam? Sadly, up to this time, these two major religions continue to infest the mindsets of the people to act this and that because as their favorite excuse, ”God says so..” and “..It is written…”
Thus, gays and lesbians are continually zapped of their rights and even treated inhumanly primarily on countries predominantly dominated by the two major world religions I mentioned, like in the Philippines.
Furthermore, even on non-gays and lesbians, hate crimes is also perpetrated by one’s own subscribe religion. The Killings of the members of opposing religious cults in the Philippines is one example of it wherein they accused one another as “satanic cults” that needs to be eliminated.

Actually, even personal religious beliefs causes hate crimes, such an example of a simple braggart man was killed brutally by vigilantes only because the man is just loudly boastful and the man’s braggart attitude was perceived to be evil that needs to be silence without being fair and just consideration why the man is acting that way.
It seems killing brutally a person or a group of person without fair and just consideration is considered “good” than a mere loud boasting in the society, for the government in the Philippines as if it nodded an approval to this hate crimes by not acting immediately to it and dismiss the dead victims to be a victims of “summary execution” with a public connotation that the dead victim might be a bad/evil person why the dead victim is killed through that kind of execution.

Colonial Legacy

Proud To Be Colonized and Duped?

Sinulog, Ati-atihan and other so-called (“Filipino???”) sto.nino festivals, as well as the festivities for the statues of “Virgin Mary” and “Christian Jesus”, are these originally home-grown Filipino religious culture which every Filipino could be proud of and show-off to foreign tourists that visits the Philippines? Tell me the truth; else I will hit your lying lips.

Sinulog Participant

I just really wonder why some Filipinos put great importance and focus on a colonial influenced belief and cultural system and traditions, as well as to colonial products and services and detest and abhor their own set of home-grown belief and cultural system and products and services, is this what the Filipino called “Nationalism” and “Patriotism”?; Nationalism and patriotism to other nation’s beliefs and culture and products and services other then one’s own? Wowowee!; A nation that do not value itself but rather values the other nation’s colonial legacy of its conquerors.

(1) Filipino Colonial Lovers: “I love Christianity; I hate and don’t like Maharlikan-Lemurian belief system”

(2)Filipino Colonial Lovers: “I love Nokia, Samsung, Sony Ericsson, etc.; I don’t like MyPhone”

(3)Filipino Colonial Lovers: “I love Korean series; I hate over dramatic and repetitive Pinoy drama and fantasy series”

(4)Filipino Colonial Lovers: “I want to marry rich foreigners; I don’t like poor and lazy Filipinos”

(5)Filipino Colonial Lovers: “I love Waltdisney; I don’t like Filipino-made animations, they are kind of cheap quality”

(6)Filipino Colonial Lovers: “I love Nike, Adidas, Converse, etc.; I don’t like Marikina shoes, they are cheap”

(7)Filipino Colonial Lovers: “I love America, Europe, Canada, etc.; I hate the poor Philippines”

These are just handful of examples of our complains and detestment to our own home-grown country- The Philippines- especially those who aspire and covet other nation’s identity and culture: “Bakit sila ang galling, pero tayo hindi? “

Filipino Sto.Nino Feast

Filipino Sto.Nino Feast

Why is it so that we could not proud of our own but what we exalt more and patronized more and value more is the legacy of our conquerors?

Do we not have our own identity and culture which we could be proud of and show-off to the world, that this is “Us”, aside from Tourist attractions like Boracay?

In religion, in governmental style, in products and services, can we not develop and nurture our own and not culturing and nurturing other nation’s culture and products and services? Why can’t we?

It is because up until now, we still let our nations be subdued with colonial influence or influence of other nations and could not decide and make on our own?

Or is it because we do not Believe Ourselves that is why other nations could dupe our thinking and manipulate our confidence?

When will the Philippines arise on High without the Wings of Colonial Legacy? When?

Honestly, whenever, I saw these Christian-inspired activities and festivities like the sto.Nino festival, feast of the Black Nazarene, feast of the Lady of “Chubakchenez”(ehehe),I felt so ashamed for the Philippines because those Filipinos who participate on such religious colonial legacy festivities, put to shame themselves in the world and especially to those World Intellectuals who watch us and perceived us that the majority of Filipinos are just a mere religious laughingstock and “dupyDucks” nation, that do not have their own identity in terms of Belief and cultural system, but just a mere “brainless slaves” or puppet and robot of feed and controlled by the world organized religion like Christianity and Islam and by the World Elites in terms of commerce and capitalism.

So sad to see these retarding and not progressing state of the Philippines in line of Belief and cultural system.

I declare that The Philippines is NOT YET TOTALLY FREE. It is still slaves of the influence of Spaniards and world’s commercialism.

Black Dark Feast

Feeding Spiritual Blindness

Why ask a blessing from a lifeless dark black statue? You are more blessed than that mere statue for you have life but the statue it hasn’t.

Yearly, sad to say many “Christian” Filipinos participate and blindly set their hope to the lifeless black Dark statue of the religiously so-called “black Nazarene” or black skinned version of “Jesus” bearing a wooden Roman cross that is used for capital punishment for criminals at its yearly celebration called “Feast of the Black Nazarene”. This religious feast is a sensational Christian feast in the Philippines because of many injuries incurred to the blind believers during the procession of the black dark lifeless statue wherein the blind believers blindly believe the black dark lifeless statue makes miracles and blessings to those who blindly believe to it. Moreover, the Philippine media have sensationalized it yearly, thus it is a double benefits for the Catholic Church to milk the pockets of these ignorant fool blind believers. It is a “major, major” celebration for them, an additional thanks to the media for more control and quick deceives tactics.

Worshipping a Black Statue?

Worshipping a Black Statue?

Let’s play “blind, blind” to this futile and injure-inflicting religious feast wherein never mind the Filipino people being rob of their senses and reasoning; never mind the Filipino people being rob of their hard-earned little money, anyway it is for the sake of a money-face “Christian” god; never mind the Filipino people being rob of their own miserable lives and physical members, anyway the “black Nazarene” will miraculously donate its lifeless existence and its lifeless feet and hands; never mind the Filipino people being seen by the world intellectuals as a mere laughingstock which they could easily deceived and control; Yes, Never mind for the sake of Religious Tolerance : learned to Respect and Honor even though the religion already suck people’s lives, senses, reasoning and money. Yes Never Mind.

This is how every new Philippine administration is doing: NeverMind.

How can the Philippine administration never ban such religious feast that cause multiple robbery crimes every year to the Philippine’s own people, is not it, Christianity is a colonial religion brought by Spaniards, how come the Philippines could not freed itself from this kind of colonial bondage and enslavery? Why let yourselves be enslave if you have the choice to be free? I bet the Catholic Church already know the stupidity of this feast but for the sake of power-keeping they exploit the ignorant believers anyway they could benefit from the ignorance and blindness of these foolish blind believers, financially and socially, at least they serve a purpose for keeping the ground of the Catholic Church strong.

The Catholic Church keeps on feeding spiritual blindness though they already know the truth behind their own-made religion, of course as I said, for Power-Keeping, so that they could do what they wanted to their believers; whatever they command their believers to do, their blind believers, joyfully and blind obey.

Hay Philippines, hay Filipinos! L But anyway, there are intelligent and smart Filipinos out there and do not give in to this faithful but brainless feast.

This is just one of the colonial religious feasts; the Philippine is still bondage of wherein unlearned Filipinos knew that it is a part of the original Pilipino culture and religion whereas it is not. The colonial powers and control is still in effect among the Filipino people and the Philippines is not yet truly Free contrary to what it is projected to the public.

The colonial conquerors may not be physically present in the Philippines but their sphere of influence in the Philippines remain still standing and influencing the Filipino minds because the Filipino themselves LOVE to remain it still.

November 1 and 2

The Horror of November 1 and 2

November 1 and 2 being a national holiday in the Philippines is not really impressive rather aside from its colonial origin; it brings a monstrous detestable mindset for a simple-minded and common Filipino against his or her fellow Filipinos. Thus, the horror of November 1 /2.

So, what is this detestable mindset which an ordinary simple thinking Filipinos are subscribe to? The ordinary simple-minded Filipinos were conditioned to think that November 1 is a moral obligation to respect and honor the dead ones around the world, thus those who do not participate to this holiday and do not visit their dead love ones during this holiday are deemed immoral and bad people not respecting and honoring their dead love ones. Moreover, they cast despisement against other religions that do not do such kind of celebration or do not have such holiday on their respective calendars.

How Filipinos do November 1

How Filipinos do November 1

This kind of mindset is naïve thinking and only those who do not think well and right will only subscribe to this cheap mindset, and only those who do not use their brain well are influenced and susceptible to this kind of mental conditioning. For November 1 is part of the religious nonsense dogmas of the hypocrite religion in the world – Christianity; A nonsense tradition to control the general mass around the world, including some Filipino Christians, into submission under those who have religious powers. Majority are willing to be slaves of those who are in power.

How Filipinos Do November 1

How Filipinos Do November 1

It is nonsense because you can visit anytime your dead love ones at any day and any month you want to because such visitation is not obligatory and mandatory but rather it is more personal thing and have no moral connotation. Thus, other religions do not have such general activity or holiday because it is stupid to mandate it. It is just mandated in Christianity or in the Catholic Church because Constantine (the true creator and founder of Christianity [though some deny it and said it is Jesus Christ or Paul of Tarsus] who also founded the so-called Council of Nicaea that forms or creates the new religion – Christianity) wants to gain more political control over the major religious factions which tends to undermine the unity of his empire at his time and within his empire and sphere of influence. The Catholic Church has mandated it for the sake of control; you see it is pure political not spiritual.

Thus, those only who do not use their brain well are led astray by such kind of stupid nonsense religious obligations and traditions. For the Catholic Church is the one who actually disrespect and dishonor your dead ones, by making your personal and intimate attachment to your dead love loves a mere obligatory thing and corrupt the solemnity and sacredness of your personal attachment to your dead love ones by treading your own personal rights to visit your dead love ones at any time and any day you want to by creating a mandate for an official visitation, which is really very stupid and nonsense.

So, are you willing to be slave of this holiday and let your personal attachment to your dead love ones be corrupted? Or reclaimed your personal rights to visit your dead love ones in a true personal, solemn and sacred way of visiting them and remembering them?

Is not it, November 1 Christian holiday is unnecessary and nonsense but continually followed by its blind believers with mental conditioned mindset that if they don’t follow the tradition, they are already disrespecting their dead love ones, as well as disrespecting God’s desires? Poor religious slaves.Tsk.tsk.

Sex Education In The Philippines

Conflicts on Sex Issue

The increasing rate of young HIV-positive diagnosed people in the Philippines at the last quarter of 2009 and the first quarter of 2010, have compelled the Department of Health and the Department of Education to held a campaign to use condoms during a sexual acts and to include sex education on the curriculums of public elementary schools in the Philippines, respectively to avoid future outbreaks of AIDS among young Filipinos in the Philippines.

Sex Education Rally

Sex Education Protest

However, these plans of the two major government departments of the Philippines has been again sharply opposed by the great hypocritical meddler and charlatan of the Philippine Republic – the CBCP (Catholic Bishop Conference of the Philippines; the Roman Catholic Church in the Philippines) –wherein the republic of the Philippines cannot meddle in their affairs vice versa because they excuse that they are “servants of God” and the republic of the Philippines will be guilty of instigating a “servant of God”. Actually, the roman Catholic Church have no any right to dictate on the affairs of the state since it is just a mere religion like the other religions in the Philippines, and should not act as if she is the only one who knows what is right and wrong for a state or country.

Catholic Bishop Conference of the Philippines

CBCP Office

Anyway, sex education or teaching the basic of sex and its complications and consequences when done early in life to young minds, scientifically and not vulgarly of course, is not harmful and will not let them go maniac toward sex contrary to the malicious minds of the CBCP that according to them, it will only lead young Filipinos to engage more maniacally on sex, which is of course not true because the CBCP was ignorant to the fact that sex education is being push through on the curriculums of the public elementary school in the Philippines because the young Filipinos are engaged maniacally on sex already without any right education about it, that is why there is an increase of young Filipinos being infected by HIV or sexually transmitted disease due to lack of knowledge regarding the consequences of it.

Moreover, of course the Department of Health and the Department of Education will not teach sex education in a more vulgar way contrary to the narrow-minded Catholic Bishops of the CBCP who are thinking malicious thoughts regarding the plan for sex education.

Religious Massacres in the Philippines

Religious Freaks in the Philippines

Even the Philippines is not spare from useless religious wrangling of major and minor religious sect vying for the approval of one Filipino who is searching for a religion whom he or she will join; because the Philippines is predominantly Catholic and Christian country eclipsing Islam dominance on the Luzon and Visayan part of the Philippines. Islam religion has only dominance in the Mindanao part of the Philippines.

Founder of Dating Daan Eli Soriano

Founder of Dating Daan Eli Soriano

A predominant Christian country that  is divided into many variety of so-called Christian churches like the Roman Catholic church, the orthodox church, the protestant, the Methodist, the Baptist, the Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC),the Jehovah’s witness, the Mormons, the charismatic, the born again, the CFCs, the SFCs, the JIL movement the “dating daan” movement, the El Shaddai group, etc.

So many variety that leads into maligning and slandering one another and calling one another “fake and satanic” and even killing one another just like what have happened to an INC pastor and his family who were massacred inside the INC compound together with his wife and children, as reported a year ago; just only to convince a Filipino seeker to join their religious group which is so vain and so senseless. There are other religious killings happening below the table but was not reported on the public because one’s religious reputation will be ruined or tainted and will lose chances of winning a proselyte if it is publicly reported. Obviously, some what they only want is the tithes or money offerings that a proselyte will donate or give to their respective churches or religious congregation because of financial poverty.

El Shaddai Head in the Philippines - Mike Velarde

El Shaddai Head in the Philippines - Mike Velarde

Take for example, pastor Mike Velarde who founded the El Shaddai group wherein he become an instant millionaire by asking tithes and money offerings from his followers in exchange for prayer requests and his blessings as the servant of God and Christ. Actually, he have already bought his own mall and even attempted to run for a government seat.

Religion in the Philippines

Continual Religious Hegemony in the Philippines

Religion in the Philippines become like a bread and butter in terms of morality. However, is the predominant religion in the Philippines which is Catholicism/Christianity a homegrown belief system in the Philippines?

Any Pilipino historian would say, it is Not, as well as the Philippines’ National heroes like Dr. Jose Rizal and Andres Bonifacio who have a non-catholic/non-Christian religion will utterly deny that Catholicism/ Christianity is the homegrown religion of the Philippines.

Actually, Philippine’s National heroes –Dr. Jose Rizal and Andres Bonifacio- fought against the hegemonic rule of Catholicism/Christianity during the Spanish times. Moreover, the Catholics/Christians during the Spanish times even snatch without mercy the native lands of the “Pilipino Katutubos” at that time. Just like what the Spanish priest missionaries were doing on remote areas in the world not only in the Philippines during the Middle times.

Up until now, the Spanish religion still has hegemony over the majority of the Pilipinos and trying to meddle again on the moral and political affairs of the Philippines. The most recent is the use of condom to prevent sexually transmitted disease which the Catholic Church have opposed and trying to impose her own power over it.

The Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines or the CBCP is the seat of the continuing proof of religious hegemony in the Philippines that tries to intervene and meddle in the Philippine affairs.
