Ilocos Sur In The Philippines Beaches And Resorts

Within our Philippine travel, Ilocos Sur Philippines is more depicted as the most cultural province in the Philippines and most popular cultural tourist spot in the history of Philippine tourism, due to Vigan City is at its center. However, Ilocos Sur Philippines is also rich in Philippine beaches and resort, a beach lover could enjoy. Its beach resorts are also one of the best Philippines resort and Philippines vacation destination.

Let’s take for example the Cabugao Beach Resort which is said to be the small Boracay Philippines of the North or Northern Luzon Philippines. Cabugao Ilocos Sur is second last municipality in the borders of Ilocos Sur Philippines. This Beach Resort is simple, quiet, and beautiful beach and inexpensive to unwind and relax yourself. It has white sand like to Boracay Philippines and Palm trees and a swimming pool in front of the beach itself, in case you are afraid surfing the waves you can instead swim at the adjacent swimming pool. Cabugao Beach Resort has its own restaurant which serves a free delicious breakfast to those tourists visiting the resort. Cabugao Beach Resort is formerly known as Cabugao Public Beach and Park, it is a municipality-owned beach resort at Cabugao Ilocos Sur Philippines.

However, aside from Cabugao Beach Resort you could found at Cabugao Ilocos Sur in the Philippines, there a private owned beach resort also which is, the Ponce Del Mar and Restaurant Beach Resort.

These two beach resorts at Cabugao Ilocos Sur in the Philippines are collectively known as the Pug-os Beach. These beaches were along the highway of Cabugao Ilocos Sur Philippines at barangay Pug-os.

However, there is an alternative beach resort at Cabugao aside from Pug-os Beach that is the Salapasap Beach. It is said this beach resort has cheaper rates that Pug-os Beach.

Aside from beach resort one could enjoy at Cabugao Ilocos Sur Philippines, there is this Salomague Island which is a favorite Port of seafarers, merchants, and traders from various Asian countries long time ago. This island is said to be best for scuba diving and sports fishing.

There are a lot of things you can do at Cabugao Ilocos Sur Philippines which I could no longer state here.

Other popular beach at Ilocos Sur Philippines is the Santiago Cove beach Resort; it is not a white sand beach but golden sand along the shores. It is indeed a unique and beautiful rare golden sand beach. Its resort is complete with amenities. Of course, it is located at Santiago Ilocos Sur Philippines. However, some thought the sand is white but actually it is really golden in the sense.

Another unique beach at Ilocos Sur Philippines is the Sulvec Beach. This Beach has a rocky shore and has a grotto atop a rock. This beach is favorite stop-over of commuters and those who are at Narvacan Ilocos Sur.

There are other two beaches one could visit at Ilocos Sur Philippines, namely, the Apatot beach resort where the beach is surrounded with apatot trees, and the Candon Beach.

Aside from beaches, Ilocos Sur has a mini-zoo park which is called Baluarte. It a 20 hectare land developed by Chavit Singson. This mini-zoo is located at Vigan City Philippines.

Like island hopping in Leyte? We may start at San Juanico Straits where it is said that it has beautiful islets, infinite whirlpools, and rushing water sceneries. From San Juanico Straits we may swim first at Amihan Cebu Woodlands which is said to be a perfect site for swimming while watching cattles roams within their grassy pasture. Then after we have taste the swimming experienced at Amihan Cebu Woodlands, we may hop into Himokilan Island to watch how this big delicious coconut-cracking crabs crack our own coconuts. Surely, your own coconut will be crack because of it very delicious taste that will drive you to snorkel or scuba dive them at Mahaba Island in obsession. Bukidnon Philippines

Landlocked Bukidnon Philippines

Like Baguio Philippines and Sagada Philippines, Bukidnon Philippines is also a perfect place to unwind from our daily stress we face daily on our lives. For Bukidnon Philippines is a landlocked elevated plateau right smack in the middle of the boundaries of Misamis provinces, Agusan del Sur, Davao del Norte, and Lanao Philippines. It has an average of 1,700 feet above sea level which really makes it a cool place to dwell. Rain pours every afternoon and mornings are mostly cold.

Bukidnon Philippines’s capital city which is Malaybalay Bukidnon is dubbed as Bukidnon’s “little Baguio” because of its resemblance to Baguio Philippines which has a fine forests.

Aside from its Baguio-like capital city, most tourists could also visit and take a spiritual retreat at Bukidnon’s lovely Mt. Kitanglad, which kind of have a resemblance of Sagada Philippines’ mountain experienced.( Speaking of spiritual retreat, you could held it also at Bukidnon’s Monastery Of Transfiguration). However, Mt. Kitanglad is the second tallest mountain in the Philippines, second to Mt. Apo the tallest mountain in the Philippines. You could scroll its beautiful sceneries and ambience through horseback riding, if you like. However, if you are adventurous tourist like you like mountain climbing activities, its local government patronizes this kind of activity on Mt. Kitanglad. However, aside from Mt. Kitanglad, there are also two major mountains in Bukidnon, namely, the Mt. Kalatungan and the Mt. Tangkulan.

River-rafting is also patronized on Bukidnon’s bodies of water especially at Pulangi River which is one of the longest rivers in Bukidnon. Aside from Pulangi River, there are other five major rivers at Bukidnon which can be enjoyed by tourist if they like river-rafting adventure, namely, the Manupali, Tagoloan, Bobonawan, Cagayan, and Muleta Rivers.

Perhaps, if it is your first time to hear Bukidnon Philippines, you have not yet heard that Bukidnon Philippines is the Pineapple capital of the Philippines, and mind you it is considered “The Pineapple Capital of the World” as well because of its biggest pineapple plantation of the world. Don’t you know that the world famous pineapple products maker Del Monte Inc., the pineapple plantation on Bukidnon is theirs? Why Del Monte Inc. choose Bukidnon Philippines to be its major pineapple farm? For Bukidnon’s almost perfect location for farming, which is a fertile land, no typhoons vehement it, and sufficient regular distribution of rainfall, convinced Del Monte Inc.

Furthermore, pineapple is not only the crops that grow on Bukidnon’s fertile lands, Bukidnon Philippines is also well known as a major producer of rice, corn, bananas and sugarcane. So if you are visiting Bukidnon, do not just look and pick a pineapple into your shopping and souvenir list, try also their corn, bananas, sugarcane and rice. For if their pineapple is sweetened by its fertile lands surely Bukidnon’s other crops are also well mothered. That is why it is called the paradise of Mindano Philippines.

There are also other places of interest in Bukidnon Philippines; there is the Mangima Canyon Park, where of course you could a river canyon and an Olympic size swimming pool, as well as a relaxing resort. There is also the Del Monte Golf course for golf lovers, and the Sumalasag Cave for cave adventure lovers

When you are on it, you are prohibited to touch neither to open the coffins for respect for those who lie on those coffins. The small and big falls of Sagada at Banga-an. On the Small Falls children love to jump from it into the freezing waters of these two falls. However, on the big falls, there is an endless stairs where you could enjoy treading it up and down, if you like.

Moreover, the Philippine Tourism Department is developing more and seeking more tourist spots throughout within the country to increase more of its revenues and to enhance more the Philippine Tourism Department of the Philippines. More Philippine resorts to erect, more Philippine beaches to discover like the Boracay beach resort which has become one of the world’s famous perfect island getaway for almost every nation of the world.

Actually, in the Philippines resorts are the most visited tourist spots by tourists throughout the country. For in it they could relax and have fun. Tourism is really a great help to generate revenues for local government of every nation, most especially the Philippines which was considered among the third world countries or underdeveloped countries. The Philippine Tourism Department has launched the “Wow Philippines” program to attract more tourist and foreigners to come and pay visit to the Philippines. This has been done through the means of creating a website for this project or program so that Philippines tourist spots can be spotted by many international internet users or by people on other countries and can be promoted world wide, perchance a foreigner will be attracted to pay a visit to the Philippines, thus creating revenues for the Philippine government.

There are also some other programs from this project, the free fare to travel program to the tourist spots one wants to visit, however I know this is just a temporary program just to educate more tourist, and as well as Filipinos about the beauty of their countries that they do not have to go into another countries to witness beautiful and extraordinary sceneries and landscape.
