No Conservation For Heritage

How many are the heritage infrastructure in Metro Manila that Heritage Conservationists wanted to preserved yet was ordered to demolish?

According to reports there are at least Four Manila’s heritage structures or Four Binondo Houses that are doom to destruction or demolishment which heritage conservationists wanted to stop wherein they send letter to Metro Manila Mayor Alfredo Lim for the stoppage of the demolition of the Four Binondo Houses or heritage structures or the Four Ancestral Manila heritage Binondo Houses. Moreover, the Heritage Conservation Society or HCS have not only received reports about the ongoing demolition of the four ancestral Binondo houses which they will try to halt but have also received that the old GSIS building or the GSIS Headquarters right next to Manila City Hall is planned to be demolish as was in the first quarter of the year there are already two significant Manila heritage structures that has been demolished, that is the Meralco Building and Laperal Apartments.

“It has come to our attention that four heritage houses in Binondo (three of them beside each other at 529 Elcano Street; and one at the corner of Jaboneros and Camba Streets) are being demolished. Aside from being built during the Spanish colonial period and surviving the Second World War, the details of the said houses may be architecturally significant. This adds to the long list of demolitions in the City of Manila just in the first half of the year, most significant of which are the Meralco Building and Laperal Apartments, and the news of the planned demolition of the GSIS Headquarters right next to Manila City Hall…” – Letter of the Heritage Conservation Society (HCS) to Metro Manila Mayor Alfredo Lim.

However, in the reports in the Philippine Daily Inquirer the letter of the Heritage Conservation Society (HCS) is dated May 8,2012 but on the letter posted by the Heritage Conservation Society (HCS) on their facebook like page, it is dated May 18,2012.

“..In a May 8 letter to Lim, the Heritage Conservation Society (HCS) said the National Cultural Heritage Act of 2009 (Republic Act No. 10066) states that the modification or demolition of properties aged 50 years old and above needs the consent of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA)…” Philippine Daily Inquirer (PDI) reports.

According to Republic Act No.10066 or the National Cultural Heritage Act of 2009,before these Four Binondo Manila heritage houses and structure(old GSIS building, as well the like buildings of Meralco Building and Laperal Building) could be demolish or modified it should be consented first to the National Commission for Culture and the Arts(NCCA) as well as to Heritage Conservation Society if ever Four Binondo Manila heritage house and structures should be demolish or not; it should have the approval and evaluation first of the latter commission and society. Not only these Four Binondo Manila heritage houses which was doom to be demolish without the consent of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) and with the Heritage Conservation Society but also the rest of all the considered heritage sites not only in or within Metro Manila but also within the entire Philippines should be consented to National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) before they could be touched for modification or demolition.

“ We would like to remind your good office of Republic Act No. 10066 – National Cultural Heritage Act of 2009. Section 5 states that modification or demolition of properties at least 50 years and older need the consent of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA). That means that this year, buildings built in 1962 or earlier are protected by law and that the NCCA needs to evaluate its significance first before a permit (to demolish) is granted, if ever it is granted,” stated by Heritage Conservation Society vice president Ivan Henares which is also a travel writer and tourism consultant.

In concurrences to the vice president of Heritage Conservation Society Ivan Henares, the Heritage Conservation Society president Gemina Cruz Araneta which is a former tourism secretary wherein Metro Manila Mayor Alfredo Lim appointed as cultural adviser, is of course also against the demolition of not only the old GSIS building as well as also any heritage sites and structures in the Philippines.
The campaign to save the Four Binondo Manila Heritage houses and the old GSIS building or the GSIS Headquarters right next to Manila City Hall has said to be gone online through e-mail and facebook by a Philippine Daily Inquirer contributor or writer.

“…The campaign to save the structure has also gone online through an e-mail drive and a Facebook page…” But to my research there is none campaign on facebook concerning such campaign to stop the demolition of these Four Binondo Manila heritage houses as well as the old Government Service Insurance System(GSIS) building on the Aroceros Street, Ermita Manila as well as to the “..four heritage houses in Binondo (three of them beside each other at 529 Elcano Street; and one at the corner of Jaboneros and Camba Streets)..” which the Philippine Daily Inquirer writer erroneously reports to be three houses.

“In its letter to Lim, the HCS also said it had received word that old structures in Binondo, particularly a house on 529 Elcano St., and another on Jaboneros corner Camba streets, were also being demolished…‘Aside from being built during the Spanish colonial period and surviving the Second World War, the details of these houses may be architecturally significant,’” stated by the Heritage Conservation Society (HCS)”..PDI reports

However, it is just a mere “like” page of fan page on facebook with post links on the articles like the article on the Philippine Daily Inquirer and their letter to Metro Manila Mayor Alfredo Lim as well as link to Republic Act No. 10066 – National Cultural Heritage Act of 2009 have just 1,211 likes which of smaller quantity or volume to hold a campaign drive whatsoever the writer on the Philippine Daily Inquirer claim to be which these likes can only be on the past and not in concurrence to the current complaint received by the Heritage Conservation Society (HCS) regarding the ongoing demolition activities of the four heritage Binondo houses in Manila.

For if there is a online campaign drive to stop the demolition of these deem Manila heritage structures, how come on latest news these ancestral houses in Binondo are on the state of being demolish without the consent of Heritage Conservation Society and by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) or they are not considered or deem to be heritage structure or officially deem cultural heritage houses, even though the Heritage Conservation Society deem their designs both exterior and interior as to be considered of greater value to the culture heritage of the Philippines because they are being built during Spanish colonial period and has survived according to Heritage Conservation Society (HCS) Second World War or short they are not in protection of the Heritage Conservation Society (HCS) which the heritage society should protected all those deem by its society as National Heritage with guards on it, how come the demolition team could touch it anyway if they are already considered or deem National Heritage by the Heritage Conservation Society or HCS but yet they are on the haste to halt the demolition operation of the four houses for they send letter to Metro Manila Mayor Alfredo Lim?

The Heritage Conservation Society (HCS) has personally admitted that the Binondo houses are already on the state of being demolish but the old Government Service Insurance System(GSIS) building which was build or rather design by famous Filipino architect Federico Ilustre who has designed not only the old Government Service Insurance System(GSIS) building but also some important or of great value infrastructures in the Philippines like the Manila International Airport, Philippine College of Commerce and Quezon Memorial Monument is not yet on the process demolition state without their consent for the Metro Manila Mayor Afredo Lim has issued a permit to demolish them.

“..Obviously, buildings built during the Spanish and American colonial periods are covered by this law. And it is bewildering how your local building official has been issuing these permits for prewar heritage without the written approval of the NCCA. As we all know, “Ignorance of the law excuses no one.” Or as the good mayor puts it, “The law applies to all, otherwise, none at all!” In Manila’s case, looks like it’s none at all.

There is a process that must be followed before a demolition permit is granted. This process is in place to help protect the last remaining significant heritage structures in our nation’s capital…”

Local Childish Terrorists

Recently, another reported terroristic attacks of the Communists Extremist Groups – the National People’s Army (NPA)- disturbs the innocent people at the three mining companies in the province of Surigao Del Norte Philippines; burning trucks, guesthouses and barge just like what they are doing to cellular sites like Globe and Smart that really disrupts communication through using cell phones. Moreover, they took also hostages into their vans for captives.

Even though they want the poor side of the Philippine community to arise above the wealth of the rich ones in the Philippine through pushing and imposing the ideas of Karl Marx into the Philippine government constitution, they still do not help actually the poor ones by just rebelling too much against the mainstream Philippine government through doing terroristic activities causing many innocent people to suffer unjustly; what a selfish brat they are! If they want to push their own ideas of governance, they should not implicate innocent Filipinos in their resentment and bitterness and hatred toward the mainstream Philippine government. For not all will adhere to their own set of beliefs regarding governance; not all Filipinos will support them in their Communist belief systems they should realized that as a grown adult Filipino, unless they are really selfish brats that displays childish tantrums by destroying public infrastructure like phone sites and now currently raiding public mining companies..What a shame on these childish brats! They thought they are doing what is good? In their dreams. Is it good to destroy all what they are destroying just only to satisfy their egoistic desires of Communist government for the Philippines? If they really care for the poor ones, they should not be doing what they are doing now.

Do they do not have mouth to have peaceful dialogues with the mainstream government to express their own complains and requests or what they have is just a mere destroying demonic hands that destroys everything brutally and mindlessly? Do they think by terrorizing people they could get what they want? They are not thinking wisely actually but rather very impulsively childish in their ways in getting what they want. They are fool then and fooling themselves that by force and arms they could get what they want. Or the peace talks which their respective leaders were involved with to end their communist insurgency avails nothing for why do they still do their said attacks if peace talks have its way to end their insurgencies? Or are they not in favor about what transpires on the peace talk negotiations entered by their respective leaders?

Philippine Independence

Is there is Really Independence Day?

If you are a foreigner and are not adept to Philippine History as well as a naïve Filipino, you will get “Wow!” how the Philippines is now 113th year old free and independent country, but is it really? I really laugh out loud that most Filipinos think that indeed the Philippines is already 113th year old independent country and even make ardent devotion on its annual celebration; ahahaha !

Actually, this annual celebration on June 12 as a day when the Philippines finally free from the occupation of colonial powers and independent from its conquerors’ grip and influence is totally and absolutely NOT TRUE and NOT A FACTUAL event in the Philippine history; it is a great lie which Filipinos today still thought that it is true and some ignorant Filipinos even want to pass this legacy of lie to their children to preserve a lie about Philippine independence. Whatta!

For June 12,1898 which the modern Philippine flag today is first raise and wave on General Emilio Aquinaldo’s balcony, is not a day of independence of Filipinos from Spanish occupation neither the day the Philippines get finally free and independence from all foreign conquerors up to this day, rather according to Philippine history it is just a day ,Aguinaldo wants to encourage Filipinos to fight for freedom which they were currently deprived then because the Spaniards still rules over them and over the country (actually, even today the Philippines is still not free from the influence of Spaniards or the Philippines is not yet Independent from the Spanish rule for see the name of the country is still Spanish inspired that reminds Filipinos that their homeland is still the possession of the Spanish King- King Philip)Moreover, Filipinos have still Spanish inspired religion and feasts which most Filipinos upheld as theirs whereas they are not theirs.

Furthermore, after the Spanish occupation, does the Philippines is still free and independent then? Certainly not for after the Spaniards have conquered the Philippines, America follow; then after America, the Japanese conquer the Philippines. It is only according to Philippine history, that the Japanese have been subdued by America, the Philippines becomes as the Philippines is now. It is America who give the Philippines a freedom which the Philippines is enjoying now at July 4,1945; America bestow the Philippines a freedom but in exchange for ,you know, the Philippines have still child-like connection to United States that waits to be pampered by America.

Before, the Philippine Independence is celebrated on July 4 and not June 12 but it was only move by former Philippine president Diosdado Macapagal to June 12 in the urge of nationalist and historians then because they don’t want a trace of American influence or they don’t want to remember that the Philippines is made free and independent by the help of United States on July 4,1945,imitating Apolinario Mabini which alter the transcript so-called Act of the Declaration of Independence and want to remove America from it, but though Apolinario Mabini can erase the name “America” on the transcript, he can’t still remove the powers behind the transcript. Actually, the transcript of the so-called the Act of the Declaration of Independence was still inspired and under the bestowed power of United States, quote: “…and under the protection of our Powerful and Humanitarian Nation, The United States of America…” This so-called Act of Declaration of Independence transcript was just a rebellion against the tyranny of Spaniards especially the tyrant Catholic priests then who enslaves Filipinos through their power and through the religion the Spaniards severely imposed to the Filipinos, the religion Christianity.

The so-called Act of the Declaration of Independence (which includes the raising and waving of the Philippine flag as well the Philippine march) is just a declaration against the Spanish occupation in the Philippines and not against America who also conquer the Philippines, as well as it is also not against any foreign conquerors that will want to conquer the Philippines.

Therefore, the celebration of the so-called Philippine Independence on June 12 that also mimics the raising and waving of the national flag accompanied with the play of Philippine national march is just nothing but a fake legacy of Philippine independence which for the United States government a remainder that the Philippines is still their colony up until now because it is them who inspired it; the America is the protective power behind such so-called Philippine Independence ritual or ceremony. Take note, the Philippine National Flag is not Philippine made but rather Hong Kong made; wow, is this the so-called Philippine Independence?

What about the so-called more than centennial (113th) Philippine Independence? Where they got this, wow more than 100 years of Philippine Independence? Is it from “1898”? Terrible!

This annual Philippine Independence celebration on June 12 (the June 12, 1898; that is where they count the so-called independence of the Philippines, thus, 113th year old) is big terrible lie that slaps the both cheeks of every Filipinos that tricks the naïve and modern generation of Filipinos that we are indeed 113th year old free and independent since June 12, 1898 whereas it is NOT; whereas it is an outright LIE; and the worst, this terrible lie wants every current Philippine government to be a legacy for Filipinos to remember.

Therefore, is there really Philippine Independence on June 12? Or a trick or treat annual celebration?

Chinese Pinoy

Bitter China And Provocative Philippines

After the fiasco of August 23,2010 bus hostage drama which killed innocent Chinese nationals wherein proper justice has not yet truly served for the victims that has made China bitter toward the Philippines; would perhaps, that is why the Chinese government never considers the plea of the Philippine government regarding the innocence of the three convicted and executed Filipinos last March, counter strike again the Philippine move, now against Philippines diplomatic protest at the United Nations (UN) filed this April 2011 regarding Philippine claim of the sovereignty over the Kalayaan Island Group of Spratlys Islands telling the United Nations that the Philippine invaded or conquered the Spratlys or Nansha Islands(China’s name for Spratlys) in 1970s which is theirs or part of their sovereignty and  territory in contrast with the Philippine protest that China’s claim regarding Spratlys has no basis in international law.

China strongly counteracts that the Philippines diplomatic notes regarding Philippine claim over Kalayaan Island Group in the Spratlys “..are totally unacceptable to the Chinese government..”.For the Kalayaan Island Group that is part of their Nansha Islands (Spratlys) was long since theirs and it is supported with abundant historical and legal evidences and the Philippines during 1970s,never claims ownership of the island during then that the Philippines is making a series of treaties defining the Philippine territory and Philippines invasion of the Kalayaan Island Group during the 1970s which is considered an unlawful act to claim rights on the islands without legal acts of ownership against China’s historical ownership of the islands could not make the Philippines’ claim rights invalid and void.

Islands on Spartlys claim by Pinas and China(on respective flags)

Islands on Spartlys claim by Pinas and China(on respective flags)

Moreover, the Philippines only proof of ownership is just a mere updated “detailed map” that can be doctored which is really unprofessional on owning something as well as conquering an island which is not historically yours.

Furthermore, it is ironic that the PNoy administration is now defending what the 1970 Philippine administration have done as the China allegedly claim; actually the 1970 administration is the administration of former Philippine president Ferdinand E. Marcos which is Aquino’s mortal enemy.

Does the present Philippine government –Pnoy administration – doing a shabby act again in front of world leaders that will not only ruin its relationship with China but also put the entire Philippines under great shame and even set the Philippines in war against China? Moreover, set a war on the South China Sea which recently provokes also Taiwan to warn the Philippines from such escalating tensions it fuels against China.

University of Santo Tomas’s 400 year anniversary

Quadricentennial Colonial Rule?

Yes, it is the oldest Asian university in the world which the Philippines can be proud of, but it is really worth the pride knowing it is not really originally Philippine-made? Ah, sorry for those Filipinos who are patriotic to colonial legacy. Anyway, let’s face it there is no real nationalism and patriotism in the Philippines because the country is a mixture of cultures which is re-branded and called “The Philippines” and the brand new hybrid race – “Filipinos”

The original true Filipinos have long been gone and obsolete in history which every new Filipinos that has been born in the present generation have no any knowledge of. Truly colonial rules and rocks!

“Quattromondial”sculpture

“Quattromondial”sculpture

However, I do not say that colonialism is bad and evil, but what I would like to point out is that it hijacks the growth and flourish-ment of pure homogenous blooded culture or race that will supposed to bring a distinct pure strong one race and culture that will give a clear accurate trace of origin of the race and culture or a pure clear and accurate history. Colonialism hijacks ones’ pure culture through hybridization or merging their dominant colonial genes and culture on the conquered race so that they could Lord or rule over them in genes and in culture over a lifetime. It is a way to erase the origin and pure race of the conquered race while preserving their dominant genes and culture. This is a great advantage for them, but to the conquered race a great terrible disadvantage because their once pure race lost real identity and could no longer tracks back accurately where they came from and who really they are.

From this standpoint, the true real identity of real pure blooded Filipinos could no longer be track back accurately and lost forever in space due to multiple colonization of the Filipino race, wherein now the most dominant of all Philippine conquerors are the Spaniards whose genes (mestizo, mestiza) and belief system (Christianity) still rules and lords over the Filipino race; not to mention that the country name “Philippines” was derived from the name of the Spanish King then – King Philip. Moreover, one great example is this quadricentennial or 400 years old Catholic Dominican University in the Philippines – the University of Santo Tomas (st. Thomas Aquinas) or widely known as UST –which takes pride to have still strong colonial strongholds on the Philippine archipelago for 400 years in controlling and influencing the hybrid race Filipinos to continue the legacy of their great conqueror (the Spaniards) and uphold it and be proud of it in their colonized hearts and minds.

University of Santo Tomas

University of Santo Tomas

It is actually a disaster on the pure true race of Filipinos but a great advantage and victory to preserve Spanish genes and culture on the Philippine land.

Therefore, is it worth a pride to take pride the victory and triumph of this colonial university as the oldest university in Asia and in the Philippines, which every Filipinos could be proud of around the world? The answer depends on the present day Filipinos.

Anyway, this colonial university –University of Santo Tomas(UST) celebrates their 400 year anniversary last January 28,2011 or what they called Quadricentennial anniversary with the unveilment of their new “Quattromondial”sculpture that composes and represents four symbolism of the university, namely

(1) Young Male Filipino student, whose sculptor’s model for it is the Philippine movie star Mr.Piolo Pascual

(2) Young Female Filipino student, whose sculptor’s model is the movie actress and TV host and beauty queen Ms. Charlene Gonzales

(3) A Thomasian teacher, modeled of course by a thomasian teacher in the university

(4) and, a Dominican Friar, whose sculptor’s model is Fr. Rolando V. Dela Rosa – the current president or rector magnifus of University of Santo Tomas.

The sculptor monument stands 10 meter high sculptured by the Filipino artist Ramon Orlina.

Hole In The Ground

Old Tunnel in the Philippines And Sinkholes

History books tell us what have happened in the past but its written chronicles we have on our history books never tells all. It just only narrates and highlights what it wanted to narrates and gives importance, thus sometimes our history books are bias and erroneous in story telling; and what it only wanted to tell and reveal to the unsuspecting public.

Just like the secret tunnel recently re-discovered at Makati city under EDSA by the workers of Manila Waters while digging and fixing some water lines; they said it is very large and wide tunnel wherein several damp trucks could fit in. Actually this large wide tunnel is just a recent rediscovery which was formerly discovered by the secret task force of former Philippine president Ferdinand Marcos who secretly dig for gold and gemstone for Marcos then. Actually on this tunnel, according to the testaments of this secret task force, they have found gold bars buried beneath it. The gold treasures is said to be part of the Yamashita treasure.

Real Japanese Tunnel in the Philippines

Real Japanese Tunnel in the Philippines

“In 1972, before the diggings happened, Marcos’ men discovered a vast tunnel “within the Pasig River” along what is now the Napindan flood control project, underground tunnels from the Fort Bonifacio military reservation up to Villamor Air Base and Bicutan-Taguig via Fort Bonifacio Army General Hospital..”

The huge tunnel origin or who constructed it was still unknown and not confirm but have speculations that it was quarry tunnel back then by [Japanese??] which is quite lame. For how can the Japanese built a very huge tunnel at the height of war against America then? Perhaps, the Japanese just already found the tunnel already build at the time they occupy the Philippines. it is either the Americans, the Spaniards or the Malay-Chinese natives of the Philippines back then have build the tunnel as passageway which was only buried at the passage of time and war.

However, until now there is no clear answer to this mysterious large wide tunnel in the Philippines of who build it and why it is build for.

In connection to this mysterious tunnel in the Philippines are the emergences of many sinkholes in the Philippines located at Baguio city, Surigao Philippines and Bohol city are just some handful examples. The mainstream geologists just speculate that limestones might have melted which cause sinkholes. But their speculations are just poor to be factual and true just like in the case of the large sinkhole shockingly appeared at Guatemmala. How can they explain such that it was only a mere corrosion and melting of limestones in the ground?

These sinkholes and large wide mystery tunnel in the Philippines only gave us a strong suspicion that the alleged underground tunnels built by the so-called reptilian species around the world to monitor humans above the earth’s crust, as well as the Hollow Earth theory could be true and fact wherein Adolf Hitler himself said that he has an invisible alien friends which are the source of his power and wisdom which resides on the inner center of the earth wherein he call them “Supermen”.

But I know, some who do not believe on the Hollow earth theory will dismiss this lightly saying that the inner earth is solid as it was depicted on the mainstream science books. But however, this science teachings on our science books is not truly fact because there are things we still do not know about planet earth and some science theories or some science facts are being updated and change like the Pluto which was a long time known science fact to be a planet but now astronomers dismiss this science fact already to be not true and Pluto is not actually a planet contrary to what we are long been indoctrinated to be a planet.

We will just update this article in the future.

Bahay Kubo

Typhoon Can’t Hit it?

Bahay Kubo or nipa hut is said to be an indigenous dwelling in the Philippines which the conventional Philippine history said that it was the dwelling of one of the first races in the Philippines. Thus Bahay Kubo is recognized as the “Pambansang Bahay”(Philippine National dwelling) of the Philippines.

Typical Bahay Kubo

Typical Bahay Kubo

But what is interesting with this bahay kubo is not the house itself neither its origin but the way some Filipinos adulate it, like the recent report that the senior engineering students of the University of the Philippines Diliman branch, proudly announced that they have designed a nipa hut or bahay kubo that could withstand typhoons and earthquake. Yes, you heard it right, a nipa hut that is stronger than your concrete modern house which could easily be toppled down with strong earthquake and typhoons.

Sounds funny, but they proudly said this nipa hut or bahay kubo they have designed have an octagonal design or form that is anchored on a central pole, which I suspect they design it against the wind forces coming sideways; moreover, they also use “kawayan” or bamboo materials for the construction of their version of nipa hut, wherein I also suspect why they use bamboo as the construction material because of the notion that bamboos never get toppled down by strong winds but only sway and follow.

Usual location of Pinoy Bahay Kubo

Usual location of Pinoy Bahay Kubo

With these ideas and concepts, thus they dubbed their nipa hut or bahay kubo version to be “typhoon-resistant”. But is it, if these ideas of them as well as their nipa hut version were not yet tested and proven by an actual very strong typhoon like Ondoy? It seems, it is too early to said that what they have designed is “typhoon-resistant”, unless it already tested and proven, but it is not yet tested and proven, is not it?

Furthermore, I find their octagonal design suspended with a central pole a little bit funny because as if they have design a “trumpo” that could be spin around the central pole when strong winds of a strong typhoon will blow sideways the nipa hut or bahay kubo, unless the foundation of their nipa hut is attached 1000 meters deep in the ground.

Perhaps, they should already erect an actual now and test and prove that what they have conceived and perceived about it is definitely right, not just another theory only and miniature model.

But what about the earthquake-resistant? They have no say about it, perhaps the report only means “typhoon-resistant”.

Filipino Against Filipino

A Tale Of Two Filipino

The assassination of the former Philippine senator Benigno Aquino or widely known as Ninoy on August 21,1983 which result into his sensational death and a commemoration of it up until now, still remains unsolved who really behind his murder wherein the most common suspect is the late former Philippine president Ferdinand E. Marcos because Ninoy was arrested and exile during the Marcos administration because Ninoy was suspected to be one of the mastermind of the destabilization plot during the Marcos administration and that spreads communist or Maoist philosophies which created the formation of different union factions that go against wildly the Marcos Administration then.

The Actual Image of Ninoy's death

Actual Death of Ninoy

But if you look the situation, two Filipinos were victim of this mysterious phenomenon on the Marcos administration: Ferdinand Marcos and Benigno Aquino; which was controlled and played by secret hidden powers then who wanted to control the Philippines’s political situation then to suit their personal agendas. It was suspected that the American elites and the American government then who is behind the fall of two Filipinos which they have played against one another: Filipino against Filipino, which indeed becomes successful. Now the Filipinos hate one another as if a self-hate disease was dropped in the Philippine archipelago during the Marcos administration to drive the Filipino race to hate and kill one another. Now also the Filipinos hate Ferdinand Marcos, their fellow Filipino, their brother who bring good things to the Philippines then before it explodes into chaos in Marcos third administration, as an arch-enemy of Filipino race and as a foreign conqueror who subdue Filipino race under his control and power, whereas it is not.

How come the Filipinos were blinded and celebrate Ninoy’s death against their fellow Filipino brother –Marcos-who was also a victim of undesired scenario then, that is why he declare Martial Law to protect Philippines’ national security then; and that Ninoy was like the ancient Filipino heroes that frees them from a foreign tyrant conqueror without considering that Ferdinand Marcos was their own fellow Filipino which is also a victim of a hidden foreign power play. These secret foreign powers are the real enemies of the Filipino and not their fellow brother in race which was used as a sacrificial lamb beyond Marcos knowing, to push and pursue their personal agendas.

Ferdinand Marcos

Ferdinand Marcos

Most Filipinos have this mindset: “Love for foreign things and hate their own things”. In short, a colonial mentality still rules in the present Philippines sugarcoat only with the hypocritical Nationalism emotions and thoughts.

Ferdinand E. Marcos

The Rise of Mediocracy in the Philippines

“Everyone wants to rule the word” – This famous statement have marred the good image of late former Philippine president Ferdinand E. Marcos and wreck his administration and ruined his excellent vision for the Philippines. Yes, this over-maligned and defamed former Philippine president was indeed a good and very bright man. He was never a dictator or an evil man contrary to the rumors spread by the mediocre ones and the press media in the Philippines, just like what the mediocre ones and press media doing against former Philippine president Gloria Arroyo today; even former Philippine president Joseph “erap” Estrada was a victim of his own mediocratic principle.

Ferdinand E. Marcos

Ferdinand E. Marcos

Actually, late former Philippine president Ferdinand Marcos was elected three times as the President of the Philippines for his commendable achievement and by his high-class visions for the Philippines. But this was ruined by the infiltration of a Communist or Maoist thoughts and ideologies brought by the Cold War then (but I suspect it was the international business elites who do this, see my succeeding paragraph below),which created the creation of a numerous “leftist” and vigilantes groups today who pursue a radical change in the government base on the Communist principle; one of the active communist group that still exist today beginning at the Marcos Administration is the New People’s Army or NPA.

These ‘leftist’ groups become so rampant and wild on the Marcos Administration then (because that was their beginnings or birth in the Philippines) which spreads lawlessness (such as disrespectful to the authorities) and vandalistic attitude that threatens the good security and economic status of the Philippines then, which forces former late Philippine president Ferdinand Marcos to impose Martial Law to counter these threats and save the Philippines from being overtaken by Communism and anarchic principles. Thus, because of these threats and the cluelessness of the Marcos administration of who is behind this destabilization plot and demolition job to overthrow the present Philippine government, resort into arresting leaders of the alleged Communist groups and torture them to speak out who is behind the spread anarchism, vandalism, and destabilization plot against the present reigning Philippine administration, and one of the person arrested is Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino because Ninoy repeatedly criticized the Marcos administration without any very solid evidence about his accusations. Thus he was suspected to have a connection to the mastermind or even one of the masterminds of the destabilization plot and demolition job.

Was Marcos wrong in containing these anarchic threats? Or was his ways of containing it wrong?

Furthermore, not only Communism and anarchy creeps in on Marcos third administration but also disloyalty and corruption of his cabinet members flourish beyond his control, which created the “corruption thought” today in the Philippine politics on Cabinet members.

Is the infiltration of Communism and corruption of his cabinet members a POWER PLAY? To destabilize his good governance and to dis-empower him because of the insecurities of the mediocre ones and the revenge of the Foreign Businesspersons then, especially Chinese ones against Marcos plans to transfer foreign ownership of businesses in the Philippines to the Filipinos and they use the mediocre Filipino then to stir up chaos and communism, so that their businesses will not be transferred to the Filipinos?

Ferdinand Marcos

Ferdinand Marcos

Is the International Business Community, the Mastermind of destabilization plot and demolition job to destroy the Marcos Administration and to destroy Marcos among the mediocre masses, respectively to suit their personal agendas and to build a Philippine government which they could control?

The downfall of a good leader is the rise of Mediocracy in the Philippines, a.k.a “People Power”, perpetuated by the International Business Elites to suit their personal business agendas and to oust out Marcos using the mediocre Filipino mass.

I pity much Marcos, because he was not justified and acknowledged for what he have done good to the Filipinos in his past administrations but remembered as useless and evil Philippine president ever live. This is definitely INJUSTICE.

Is “People Power” worth remembering against a former good leader?

*Note: This Article about Ferdinand Marcos was submitted by one of the writers that work for ThePhilippines.ph, it does not neccessarily reflect the opinions of ThePhilippines.ph, we however believe it is a good starting point for discussing, so fire away :)
