Aspiring For Non-Pinoy Title

So what if so-called “Pinoy” bet for the eleventh season of the famous American reality TV show “American Idol” didn’t win the crown as the 11th American Idol, anyway is Miss Jessica Sanchez, the so-called “Pinoy” bet for the reality show, a pure American to be idolized as the next American Idol? How the Filipinos were so day dreaming and out of reality, is Jessica Sanchez on the “Filipino Idol” contests that they should be dismayed because she didn’t won the title? How idiot.

More worst she was called “World Idol” by an online twitter something polls being her as the one who gets the most votes perpetrated by a wordpress blogger “The Ayson Chronicles : A Life Online” and her Filipino diehard fans as well as American fans go “gaga”, as the religious goes “gaga” on pop icon Lady Gaga’s Asian concert tour; what the heck is going on the people?

According to the result papers of mobs-labs.org which is the base of all the rumors that Miss Jessica Sanchez will be the next 11th American Idol or will be the winner of the 11th season : “..The analysis of the season finale is based on the data collected between the beginning of the show in the East at 8:00 P.M. EST and the end of the voting period in the west, at 4:00 A.M. EST. The histogram of Figure 5 has a twofold interpretation. Moreover to add to the craze of most Pinoys, they thought that these Twitter polls could really predict the real winner of American Idol, ahead of the production and management team of the reality US TV show “American Idol”, forgetting that the show is only about and centered only within the United States or the voting polls is only within the American and not outside the United States for it is as the title of the reality TV shows says “American Idol” not “World Idol”

According to the results presented by the mobs-lab.org, which generate the Twitter polls worldwide online, the real winner of the reality show is Indeed “Phillip” having the great number of the regional votes than Miss Jessica Sanchez if only within United States is to be considered since the show is indeed only for the Americans and not for the World to decide and partake.

But to a resentful Vice President of the Philippines, Jejomar Binay, according to his tweet Jessica Sanchez is the real winner of the US reality TV show as if Jessica Sanchez is on a Worldwide contest which he willfully forget that the reality TV show is just only centered or within the territory of the United States or the votes to be casted upon is only within America.

“Hindi man pinalad si @JSanchezAI11 bilang American Idol, sa puso ng bawat Pilipino, siya pa rin ang nagwagi. Like other talented kababayans, she makes us proud to be Filipinos,”

In addition to that, some Philippine Senators goes out of sync of their brains saying that Jessica Sanchez should be hail on the upper pedestal for no Filipino has not yet done what she has done, as if she join a world contests, perchance only that the American Idol reality TV show is just famous around the world but that doesn’t mean it is already worldwide show that should be revered upon. What an American colonial mentality some Filipinos have. It is a crying shame that the Philippine dignitaries are the ones who felt dismay not understanding what the contest is all about.

“Jessica Sanchez should be congratulated and commended through this resolution for her personal feat that celebrates Filipino ancestry and echoes national pride,….. She was almost eliminated in the Top 7’s first week had it not been for the ‘judges’ save’ which was introduced in the eighth season, making her the first female and fourth finalist in the show’s history to be spared from elimination,”…said by Senator Manny Villar.

Senator Franklin Drilon also has to say about the result of the reality show and felt also dismay : “Sayang. Sana po nanalo, mahal siya ng buong bansa. Ganunpaman, sa palagay ko the future will be good to her given her talent and how I wished she won,”

Senator Gringo Honasan also felt dismay that Miss Jessica Sanchez should have won the reality TV show and said that the entire Philippine nation was greatly dismay about the final results of the reality TV show who is the real winner; and the senator just comfort the nation not to be so sad about what have happened to Miss Jessica Sanchez but the nation should be at least happy because she have shown that Filipinos could at least make it on a foreign contest and should think that Miss Jessica Sanchez have not lost her talent anyway; this he also comfort himself.

Furthermore, a fellow Bataeños of Miss Jessica Sanchez ( Miss Jessica Sanchez came from Bataan region of the Philippines) or a congressman or house representative of the region of Bataan, Rep. Albert Garcia of Bataan’s second district, filed a House Resolution congratulating and commending the “innate talent” and what Miss Jessica Sanchez has achieved on the currently concluded US Reality TV Show, ”American Idol” : House Resolution No. 2444,that will give honor to Miss Jessica Sanchez.

However, other Philippine solon filed another House Resolution that will commend and honor Miss Sanchez, the House Resolution (HR) No. 2425 filed by Bataan Rep. Herminia Roman that will give Miss Sanchez a honor; or it not might not cause confusion if the two House Resolution filed by two Bataan representatives are just the same or not or which is official or personal, well I don’t know perhaps it is just a craze and mania that they redundantly file the same House Resolution that aims to honor Miss Jessica Sanchez.

“Malaking karangalan si Jessica hindi lamang sa ating lalawigan kundi maging sa buong bansa, Lahat nalungkot pero at the same time we should be proud of her because she faced a stiff competition and yet she attained quite a feat, Her talent, humility, and passion has united Filipinos the world over and has given us another Filipino champion to emulate..”, said in a mixed emotions (gladness and dismay) by Bataan Rep. Albert Garcia of Bataan’s second district.

House Speaker Feliciano Belmonte Jr. certified that Miss Jessica Sanchez will be given honors that she deserved for she has given the Philippines a great honor abroad. “Hers is a great achievement; definitely we will honor her,”

Some solons indeed express commendations to her :

“Being second is an excellent feat for a very young lady. I’m sure that her future is already made because she is fantastically talented,” said by House Majority Leader Rep. Neptali Gonzales II (Mandaluyong)..

“Malaking karangalan na para sa Pilipinas ang narating ni Jessica. Congratulations sa kanya. Pero sa aking pagtingin mas magaling na mang-aawit si Jessica. Wala lang sa kanya ang home court advantage,” said by Negros Occidental Rep. Albee Benitez.

“Clearly mas magaling siya (Sanchez). Pangalawa, mas malaki ang silbi sa buong mundo kung si Jessica ang nanalo because she will inspire more people in Asia and Latin America. Sayang. But she’s clearly the bigger star now,” said by Marikina City Rep. Miro Quimbo.

However, Citizens’ Battle Against Corruption Rep. Sherwin Tugna could not believed that Miss Sanchez did not won over Phillip and express sadness : “Nakakalungkot man dahil second place si Jessica, ang buong sambayanan at lahing Pilipino ay very proud sa kanyang nakamit. She did the Filipino race very proud,”

But however, despite of the all dismay and consolation praises and commendation received by Miss Jessica Sanchez particularly on her mother homeland or home roots, the Philippines, she still felt no regrets about the result anyway according to her and call that protest about the result is not necessary for according to her Phillip deserve to be won and not her. She is happy about the result anyway despite her fellow Filipinos in the Philippines felt great dismay and sadness about the results that she did not won the US Reality TV show, American Idol.

“I don’t think it’s necessary. I think Phil deserves to win, I think it was all fair. They wouldn’t ever cheat or anything like that. I think it was completely fair.”

To wrapped up, most Filipinos are so ecstatic and emotional that sometimes they willfully forget that American Idol are just for Americans and not for Filipinos to receive the crown of “American Idol” because it is only for American. Miss Jessica Sanchez is not purely American to be honored to be American Idol for she has Filipino blood but however if the Americans themselves loves to hail a half-blood American to be their next American Idol, so it be.

Bitter China And Provocative Philippines

After the fiasco of August 23,2010 bus hostage drama which killed innocent Chinese nationals wherein proper justice has not yet truly served for the victims that has made China bitter toward the Philippines; would perhaps, that is why the Chinese government never considers the plea of the Philippine government regarding the innocence of the three convicted and executed Filipinos last March, counter strike again the Philippine move, now against Philippines diplomatic protest at the United Nations (UN) filed this April 2011 regarding Philippine claim of the sovereignty over the Kalayaan Island Group of Spratlys Islands telling the United Nations that the Philippine invaded or conquered the Spratlys or Nansha Islands(China’s name for Spratlys) in 1970s which is theirs or part of their sovereignty and territory in contrast with the Philippine protest that China’s claim regarding Spratlys has no basis in international law.

China strongly counteracts that the Philippines diplomatic notes regarding Philippine claim over Kalayaan Island Group in the Spratlys “..are totally unacceptable to the Chinese government..”.For the Kalayaan Island Group that is part of their Nansha Islands (Spratlys) was long since theirs and it is supported with abundant historical and legal evidences and the Philippines during 1970s,never claims ownership of the island during then that the Philippines is making a series of treaties defining the Philippine territory and Philippines invasion of the Kalayaan Island Group during the 1970s which is considered an unlawful act to claim rights on the islands without legal acts of ownership against China’s historical ownership of the islands could not make the Philippines’ claim rights invalid and void.

Moreover, the Philippines only proof of ownership is just a mere updated “detailed map” that can be doctored which is really unprofessional on owning something as well as conquering an island which is not historically yours.

Furthermore, it is ironic that the PNoy administration is now defending what the 1970 Philippine administration have done as the China allegedly claim; actually the 1970 administration is the administration of former Philippine president Ferdinand E. Marcos which is Aquino’s mortal enemy.

Does the present Philippine government –Pnoy administration – doing a shabby act again in front of world leaders that will not only ruin its relationship with China but also put the entire Philippines under great shame and even set the Philippines in war against China? Moreover, set a war on the South China Sea which recently provokes also Taiwan to warn the Philippines from such escalating tensions it fuels against China.

The Sulawesi islands is said to be less than 500 kilometers away from Sarangani province in the Philippines, thus, affecting the southern part of the Philippines an earth tremors or earthquakes.

So what is this undersea volcano had to do with the earthquake? As it was reported, this undersea volcano is slowly rising up thus affecting the continents or land mass surrounding it which causes an earthquake on the land surface. This is really very interesting and mysterious natural phenomenon – a rising undersea volcano?

Aside from Leyte Philippines rich historical tourist places, there are also places in LeytePhilippines which was weaved not by history but by nature itself. Leyte has also beaches a beach lover tourist seek, such as the White Beach located at Brg. San Jose where one could do what one is commonly doing in a beach. If you are looking for a rich historical tourist attraction in the Philippines, Leyte Philippines is the one you are looking for. That is if you are up to historical trip and adventure. It is indeed a very beautiful beach in Palo Leyte, where of course, a memorial bigger than life-size statue of Gen. Douglas MacArthur was erected there at the lagoon site of the beach. This particular site is called MacArthur Landing Memorial National Park, just like the Rizal Park or Luneta at Manila Philippines. The statue erected on the lagoon was not only him but also with his Allied forces then, in a reenactment act or mode. You better visit Palo Leyte to see these reenactment statues on the lagoon. However, if this not your trip and but want to climb up high from this body of water to keep your foot from getting wet, well try climb the three historical hills of Leyte.

Hill 522 and Hill 120 and Buga-Buga hills are historical tourist hills in Leyte Philippines where one could still see the remnant of World War II between Americans and Japanese, like for example the foxholes which the Japanese soldiers then made at Hill 522 which is also called Guinhangdan Hill. However, there is also a panoramic view of Leyte gulf at Hill 120 where one could relax at concrete canopies and tables surrounded with the landscape of flowers and shrubs while viewing the Leyte Gulf and the coastal lines around the town. But at Buga-Buga hills you will have a creepy feelings while up on it, because thousands of Japanese soldiers died on it and were buried on it as well as hundreds of American soldiers died on it during World War II. Actually, there a bone hunting expedition on it to those who do pilgrimage and foreign tourist.

The Camiguin Island of the Philippines

Where does all lanzones come in the Philippines? Yup, major lanzones productions or lanzones farms come from Camiguin Island Philippines. For Camiguin Island Philippines is the lanzones capital of the Philippines. Every October, this island held a Lanzones Festival at the town of Mambajao where there are street dancing and parade and beauty contests.

Although there are lanzones fruit throughout the Philippine archipelago, Camiguin Island Philippines is the major producers of it. Its lanzones proves to be more tasty and sweet than other lanzones in other regions of the Philippines. That is why more tourists flock at Mambajao Camiguin during October or during the Lanzones festival.

However, lanzones is not entirely the main tourist destination at Camiguin Island. There are also places that really stunning, like the sunken cemetery and the cross marker erected there. This place is like a sea having a cross above it. This Sunken cemetery is located at Bonbon Catarman. This cemetery was sunken by a great volcanic holocaust at 1871. Speaking of Volcano, Camiguin Island has an active volcano – the Mt. Hibok-Hibok. Thus, there is a PHILVOCS Observatory Station there to monitor the Mt. Hibok-Hibok’s seismic movement. Furthermore, from a volcanic devastation, aside from the sunken cemetery you can see at Catarman, there is also this Gui-Ob church ruins that has not been sunken but rather have been volcanically devastated and its remains become a tourist spot at Catarman. This church ruins is a Spanish-old church during 1871.

Camiguin Island Philippines has also a lot of water treasuries a tourist could admire, namely, the Katibawasan Falls, Tuasan Falls, The Taguines Lagoon, The Tangub Hot Spring, the Macao Cold Spring, the Ardent Hot Spring, the Jicduf Shoal, the Burias Shoal, the Sto.Nino Cold Spring, and the White Island. These water treasures of Camiguin Island can be enjoy while feasting on their sweet lanzones fruit. For example, after bathing of Camiguin Island Springs, you take a pick of lanzones, while relaxing. What a relaxing mood is not it?
