The aging process is perhaps only applicable to us humans, beasts and insects but what about to a natural landscape; will its natural beauty aged also naturally like us as time passes? Hmm. We could say that natural landscape never age unless it is change or altered naturally by nature and by man intervention. The beauty can be preserved forever if no one attempts to touch it or alter it either by nature itself or by man’s manipulation.

If so, then the rumors are true that the famous beautiful white beach in the Philippines is in the brink of losing her natural beauty and charm by the intervention and irresponsible careless acts of men and women who exploit her beauty for profits (money) sake. Reports have it that Boracay’s ample white grain sand is slowly draining due to: First, according to the reports, by erecting a big sand castle out of its white sand to gain money on its sand; second,the damping of commercial waste products by the vendors like plastic bags upon it which mar the beautiful sight of the beach resort or which ruins the beauty of Boracay.

These selfish acts, according to the reports could ruin the tourism revenue of Boracay for tourists will be dismayed in witnessing such deglamorizing of the beach resort they used to love its beauty. The revenue will drop because less tourist will visit it due to Boracay’s tourist value will decrease. Therefore, these litters and income opportunists will also be affected by the selfish actions they have committed.

Therefore, to preserve the tourism value of Boracay and everybody will benefit from it even the litters and income opportunists, all should take care the beauty of Boracay wherein they owe their income; for without it they are nothing in terms of income or no money will come to them. The litters and income opportunist should be educated; else they will lose their income opportunities if they do not participate in taking care the beauty of Boracay.

However, if you are planning to have personal interactions with these Whale sharks, you have to attend first the Butanding Interaction briefing, wherein you will be assigned to a particular boats and boat crew, including the Butanding Interaction Officer (BIO) where you will submit your Butanding Interaction Research Form after your briefing, which you will fill-up of course.

Once you saw these whale sharks, you do not have to freak due to its very huge body or just because it a shark, because these Butandings are gentle and friendly creatures, thus you will surely enjoy interacting with them and swim and play together with them on the waters. Furthermore, if you like to document your rare and once in a lifetime summer adventure trip, underwater video cameras are allowed but not with artificial illumination device or gadget for it may distract the Butandings.

This Whale Shark Interaction activity only happens every October, February, March, April and May. For these months, the Butandings appears in the waters of Donsol Sorsogon. Thus, this is really a rare experience. However, despite of its rare happenings, Sorsogon Philippines have been dubbed already as the “The Whale Shark Capital of the World” Thus, due to this rare phenomenon, the local government of Sorsogon has created a feast or festival for these creatures, they call this festival “Butanding Arriba Festival” This festival is to welcome the return of the Butandings or Whale Sharks at the waters of Sorsogon. This is held every first week of March at the town of Donsol.

Similarly to this is the Audanao Fish Sanctuary located at Barangay Aundanao Samal. So much of a fishy adventure on this island lets now go the major tourist attractions this Island Garden City boast of, as well as to its Garden side why it was called Island garden.

After spending our time watching fish swims at Mariculture Park lets go the caves of the Talikud Island where we could see many bats hangings upon it. Samal Island Philippine have a large population of bats, actually Samal Island have annual Bat festival. Before we pass by at the Talikud Island, we saw a mangroves being planted and cultured on soil, this they call Mangrovetum mangrove forest site. It is said that it is only 800 kilometers away from Manila, so if you are in Manila try getting an airline ticket to Cebu Philippines, then a trip to Surigao City and then to Siargao Island. Or you could go directly to Surigao city via airlines if you are in Manila if you do not wanted to take two planes on board. However, there are means and ways to get into Siargao Island Philippines either by plane or by sea. So make up your minds whether from Manila to Cebu to Surigao or from Manila to Surigao because we have a lot to discover about its mangrove forest sanctuary and its coconut palms which is said to be dressed in circle around the center of the island. Wow that is a great sight to see and discover and photographed.

As well as at Pansukian were you could see a great number of coral reefs.

After surfing and diving we could go boat tripping all day long or even at night at Sohoton Lagoon where we could witness overhanging jungle cliffs and caves with beautiful stalactites. And since we are on a boat trip we could go pass by the mangrove sanctuary at Del Carmen. Moreover, we could island hopping at Guyam, Daku and Pansukian Island after that.
