Previous business surveys of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) last year 2011 said that businesses in the Philippines will remain optimistic and will bloom and their ability to generate profit will still be intact; and it is indeed up according to latest business reports.

Investments in the Philippines is up to 25 % percentage increase in April 2012 from “..only P37.56 billion a year ago…” into P133.18 billion as registered in the Board of Investments (BOI).

The increase in investment was brought by two power projects approved by the Board of Investments (BOI) during the month of April. The two power projects are:

(1) The P21.78 billion project of South Luzon Thermal Energy Corp. –It is a company jointly owned by the Ayala group and by the Trans-Asia Oil and Energy Development Corporation.

(2) The P49.45 billion expansion of the 600-megawatt Masinloc coal facility own by Masinloc Power Partners Co.Ltd. The Masinloc Power Partners Co. Ltd is the Philippine local arm of the US power giant AES Corporation.

Investment pledges or sure investment contracts in the Philippines according from the data of Board Of Investments (BOI) on the first four months of 2012 surged into 158 projects that are expected to generate 22,114 new jobs once these projects become operational.

Biggest investment commitments came from (a.)Electricity (b.) gas (c.) steam sector (d.) air-conditioning sector (e.) real estate and (f.) mining and quarrying.

Moreover, other investment options can also include, according to Trade Undersecretary and Board of Investments (BOI) managing head Adrian S. Cristobal; agribusiness, manufacturing, and tourism.
“We see rising investor interest in strategic sectors such as agribusiness, manufacturing, and tourism. Domestic investors’ confidence in the economy continues to rise, and the same goes from foreign investors for the past four months..”

In other hand, foreign investments grew by 26% in the first four months of 2012 from P8.084 billion last year 2011, into P10.191 billion this year 2012.The greatest contributor of foreign investment came from Thailand, accounting for P3.62 billion for January up to April 2012.

This was seconded by Japan, with P1.02 billion worth of investment pledges which is amounting to 5 or 10 power projects that will generate new jobs for unemployed Filipinos.

Meanwhile, the Board of Investments (BOI) is still pilot-testing some other business sectors like agribusiness, mass housing, and tourism for generation of more investment pledges or investment contracts this year.

The results of pilot-testing “..will determine if the streamlined process can be applied to the rest..” of the type of business sectors that will be applied under Philippine’s blueprint for investment promotions – Investments Priorities Plan.

Is the current Philippine president Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III a great fool and troublemaker trying hard to fight the powerful China? How fool is he!

Then, it is the OFWs in China involved on drug muling were sentence to capital punishment or death sentence in China without thorough investigation if they are really involved on the allegations of drug trafficking with PNoy just smirk and do not do anything to save his/her fellow Filipinos [?](actually, he is half-Pinoy and half-Chinese) due to August 23,2011 botched rescue of the Chinese nationals which he snob to give them a consolation and public apology for their lost love ones; and hypocritically visit China for said peace talks for the Spratlys island yet China just trick him and make him dupe for China is still firm in its decision to claim the Sparatlys islands and now the Philippines suffer the consequences of the fury of China because of Noynoy who is “Noynoying” and making rounds of lies ,hypocrisy and arrogance.
The latest curse of China is damp and make it rot the Philippine bananas on the Sino port by refusing the Philippine bananas to be imported into their land; not to mention the impending war of China against Philippine due to Scarborough Shoal issue.

The president of Pilipino Banana Growers and Exporters Association which consist of 18 Mindanao company expressed dismay with the reaction of the Chinese authorities, : “..Mindanao exporters feel we are being harassed…” and state that the banana industry have lost 1 billion.

“I hope this is really not political because we are in the business. We don’t want to believe that the life of the banana industry is threatened by our country’s problem with China…”

Moreover, the Mindanao businessmen complained that their banana business should not tainted with political issue going on with China and Philippines fueled by both parties but mostly heated and intensified by the foolishness and arrogance of Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III beginning his incompetent management of the August 23, 2011 bus hostage incident which left the innocent Chinese nationals lifeless and not help and snob heartlessly by Noynoy when their families ask for consolation and justice.

The blame for Chinese bullying acts is Noynoy and the Mindanao businessmen should stop complaining regarding Chinese authorities reactions toward their banana business but rather rock the seat of presidency of Noynoy who is making troubles against China wherein China just react naturally to depend itself from stupidity of the current Philippine president, wherein the innocent Filipino citizen suffer the consequences of PNoy’s incompetent ruling and messing up with China.

How Fool is Noy is !

Has anyone knows Claudine nowadays? Since she left the TV network ABS-CBN Channel 2,her career becomes spinning down the drain up into no one already know who she is because rough times just shit(Siete)(7) her when she transfer to GMA Channel 7; from flop TV shows into rumor break-ups with her husband actor Raymart Santiago into financial bankruptcy; from her rumor return to TV network ABS-CBN Channel 2;and now into controversial heat up together with her husband Raymart Santiago with columnist Ramon Tulfo at the arrival area of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 last Sunday, May 6,2012.

The brawl started according to reports that when actress Ms. Claudine Barreto reprimanded the flight attendant of the Cebu Pacific Airlines when she found out some of her luggage were missing then she saw an unknown man taking coverage or taking pictures what was happening with her with the flight attendant while she bash loudly in front of the other passengers regarding their missing luggage which according to Ms. Barreto and her group was left or off-loaded by a personnel at Aklan airport without their consent from their Boracay trip when they arrived at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 thru Cebu Pacific Airlines.

Her husband actor Raymart Santiago or Martin Santiago in real life confronted the unknown man taking advantage of her wife bashing acts and found out to be the columnist Ramon Tulfo who happens to be on the arrival area also from his trip from Davao. According to columnist Ramon Tulfo, at first he felt pity for what happened to celebrity couple Raymart and Claudine but change his heart when he saw the tongue lashing acts of Ms. Barreto to an ordinary flight attendant and then took advantage the incident as a journalist who seeks interesting, controversial and juicy reports.

Who the first who took the punch and skirmish was not yet known for the incident is still under investigation, however, both parties blame it’s the other party who started the brawl, thus both file counter charges. Sad to say the incident was not caught by a close circuit television (CCTV) cameras according to Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 manager Octavio Lina.

The incident is now the talk of the town and actress Ms. Claudine Barreto’s career just become worst because of the said incident or brawl. Her showbiz career just become more “Shit”(Siete :7) since she transfer to GMA Channel 7 for if it is not why her showbiz becomes lie low.

More unpleasant incidents involving her, her Philippine showbiz career will become doom or she will become one of the forgotten actresses on the Philippine entertainment industry.

Why does sometimes Filipinos reacts as if they are the only race being trodden down by other races in regards to working abroad and create a sympathy that OFWs are modern day Filipino heroes?
Why create a self-pitiful and poor self-image and accept the reality that if their work ethics is wrong, then it is wrong; accept it; why felt insecure?

Lately, the Philippine embassy in Washington D.C. demand public apology from council member of the District of Columbia name Marion Barry for criticizing their local hospitals for hiring Filipino nurses.

According to the report Marion Barry’s statement includes insinuation against Filipino nurses to be not trustworthy in terms of nursing patients and unprofessional in their dealings with patients and suggest that the District of Columbia should hire their own local registered nurses instead rather than hiring foreign nurses.

Barry was firm in his statement that he will not do a public apology for the Filipino nurses for he said what he utter is right and true that Asians just work to meet their American dreams and he just promote patrioticism and nationalism on his own District and his statement was taken out of context.

Here what Council member of the District of Columbia Marion Barry said: ““In fact, it’s so bad, that if you go to the hospital now, you’ll find a number of immigrants who are nurses, particularly from the Philippines. And, no offense, but let’s grow our own nurses, so that we don’t have to be scrounging around in our community clinics and other kinds of places, having to hire people from somewhere else,”

However, in contrast, Philippine Ambassador to the United States Jose Cuisia, states that Barry’s remarks are “intolerant” and “narrow-minded” and defended the Filipino nurses: “..“Filipino nurses are known to be competent, hardworking, caring, and possess good work ethic. These are some of the reasons why most patients prefer and trust them. Like many good citizens, they pay their taxes and contribute to the American economy..”

However, to my own opinion and experience with registered Filipino nurses, there is some part Philippine Ambassador to the United States Jose Cuisia’s statement which are not true. Some registered Filipino nurses are sometimes reliant to what they only learn from their courses within the University they have taken their nursing career; and lacks experience and expertise and proficiency.

So, is not only right that Filipino nurses should be criticized? It is the lacking of the Philippine government why registered Filipino nurses abroad were the eye of criticism or were malign from their foreign bosses and even on foreign community offline and online; few only are successful and commended.

Filipino Nurses should take the criticism an opportunity to work hard and be professional than cry “foul!” and lament and resent it like a little child that wears too much self-pity.

Has the career of the A-list and famous Philippine actress and TV host Ms. Sharon Cuneta on trouble waters upon making a big decision to transfer to third class TV network TV5 from the first class TV network –ABS-CBN channel 2;for she was continually bombarded with bad public criticisms lately because of her transfer to TV5?

She herself admitted that she was affected and annoyed by bad public criticisms on her move and was hurt, “All of a sudden ang sama-sama naming. It’s unfair to us artists, because this is our choice..,ang sakit-sakit naman ng mga paratang..”

Her move to TV 5 was cast in a bad light by those who admire her on the Kapamilya Network (ABS-CBN) as “Mukhang Pera” and was spread on media; prints and online. Her admirers wants her to stay on the Kapamilya Network, thus her sudden move was resented by her admirers for, for 23 years she was in the Kapamilya Network and they was hurt by her move which Ms. Cuneta could not comprehend why some react this way and that and in the same way her admirers on the Kapamilya Network could not comprehend why also.

“Nasaktan ako kasi some people thought it was the one billion..I don’t know whether to laugh or cry when I get labeled mukhang pera…..Pinaghirapan ko naman ito for more than 30 years..”, she confessed.

However, though she transfer to TV5 she has no any resentment or hurt feelings toward her former bosses in the Kapmilya Network, as well as also her former bosses in the Kapamilya Network toward her; they respect her decision as she respect them.

It is only the public that is making noise regarding her transfer to TV5, but however, it is the public itself who make her Star and famous Celebrity.

Thus, if she was continually cast upon a bad light by public viewers, her TV career or her career itself will be really on the bad luck since her new show in TV 5,which entitled : “ Sharon: Kasama Mo,Kapatid” is similar to her talk show on the Kapamilya Network. “ …I thought I deserved, and wanted my name on my show again. And it was TV 5 that gave it to me..”

Seems like another Willie and Wowowee transferring into TV5 as Willie and Willing-Willie and because of bad publicity it was reformatted into Wil Time Bigtime; so what will happen to Ms. Cuneta if her new show on TV 5 is a copy cat; “You are (It is) nothing but a second-rate, trying hard copycat!” Let us see what will happen on her second-rate copycat TT show on TV 5..

Has GMA 7, one of leading TV network in the Philippines lying all this time that they are the number one and leading TV network in the entire Philippines presenting ratings report to validate their claim of TV supremacy on Philippine Television yet they themselves claim that their net income has drop drastically from P2.82 billion in 2010 into P1.72 billion in 2011?

“Our net income took a beating..We experienced the lowest net income level, of the past 5 years in the 4th quarter of 2011..”,admitted and verified by GMA Channel 7 vice president for finance, Ronaldo P. Mastrili.

Added to that, the GMA 7 “Kapuso” chair and CEO Felipe L. Gozon is sure to sell the TV network to PLDT/Smart/Sun/TV5’s chair and CEO Manuel V. Pangilinan for P60 billion pesos but Pangilinan wants to buy the TV network between P45 billion pesos and P51 billion pesos.
Morever, GMA 7 advertising revenue has dropped into P13.08 billion pesos.

The sell of GMA 7 according to GMA Network president Gilberto Duavit Jr. is inevitable. “The is not to say that GMA 7 will not be sold, but at the moment we are presently not pursuing serious negotiations with the PLDT group because they have not offered us a price that is acceptable to our shareholders..”

But in contradictory report, GMA 7 executives says that the TV network is not for sale, however, they themselves claim that it can sold if the price is right. Therefore, GMA channel 7 is indeed for sale and GMA channel 7 is indeed lying that they rule the Philippine Televison.

For if they rule the Philippine Television how come they themselves admit that they lost revenues mostly last year and the TV network is for auction and PLDT/Smart/Sun/TV5 chair and CEO Manuel V. Pangilinan is buying the TV network for P60 billion pesos?
However, Chair and CEO of GMA 7 Atty. Felipe Gozon, said in contradictory statements regarding the report or rumor as he said though there are already some proofs that GMA 7 is ready for sale and Manuel V. Pangilinan is buying it.

“…”Out of this world naman yun…That is a very wild rumor.”

“”Kung may mag-o-offer ng P500 billion, kahit tulog ako, gisingin n’yo ako, I will sell.”

Therefore, the rumor is true that it could be the end of GMA 7 or let us see what will happen next though the TV network executives are denying it on media.

Is it right that the Consolidated Mines Inc.(CMI) president blame the lost of national government taxes to illegal mining alone in the Zambales Philippines whereas the Aquino government boast a robust government taxes through thrifting? How is that, if the Aquino government never spent much?

According to the president of the Consolidated Mines, Inc. –one of the Mining company in the Philippines –Benicio Eusebio – “The national government has lost about P10 million in tax revenues, so far, because of the illegal hauling and shipping..” and he accused the Zambales governor Hermogenes Ebdane Jr. of abusing his authority by issuing permits to small-scale mining company and according to Eusebio it is only the Department of Environment and National Resources(DENR) could issue such permit, thus he accused the Zambales governor of allowing what he so-called “illegal mining in the Sitio Coto mineral reservation.

However, the Department of Environment and National Resource (DENR) just issued a cease and desist orders (CDOs) to several small-scale miners and never file a lawsuit to the small-scale miners which the Consolidated Miners, Inc. president Benicio Eusebio complain about even the Zamboanga governor was never touched by the National government?

How can that be that one small-scale miners mining activity has affected national government budget? Has the Pinas lost taxes then?

Then, the Smart Araneta Coliseum (formerly Araneta Coliseum) thinks it is the only premier events arena in the Philippines, but now another premier events arena will arise to compete the Smart Araneta Coliseum, the Mall of Asia Arena.

According to Senior vice president of West Avenue Theatre Corp., the managing arm of the Mall of Asia Arena, Mall of Asia Arena is part of the Mall of Asia master plan to have a full entertainment center that will cater entertainment events that will be integrated with their SM shopping malls since their respective SM branches host inside and outside entertainment events, thus came about the Mall of Asia Arena similar to Smart Araneta Coliseum or events centers that caters large entertainment and sport events.

“..so the next missing component is an entertainment infrastructure to accommodate a good number of people, that’s why the Mall of Asia came about..”, says Edgar Tejerero.

The first-level of Mall of Asia Arena is consist of 16,000 seats and a full house capacity of 20,000 including those standing and performers area.”…It will also be equipped with cutting-edge technology and world-class amenities..” The first level is reserve or will be home of the UAAP and the NCAA Basketball League.

The flooring of the first-level of Mall of Asia Arena is made from Robins Inc. flooring materials; spalding basketball goals;”..Daktronics Scoreboard similar to what the NBA is using.
The Arena is also consist of press rooms, meeting and greeting rooms for press conferences ,four dugouts, nine loading bays, for ingress-egress of food, container trucks,escalators,16 smoking lounges, wi-fi ready stations, PWD access lanes. It is also equipped with CCTV cameras , police desk, a clinic and a standby ambulance.

It also consist of Corporate Suites or “..private rooms with its own restroom..” sofas, mini bar, and a private gallery with cinema seats..”

In comparison to other event venues in the Philippines and in Southeast Asia, according to Tejerero.. “..that’s what really makes Mall of Asia Arena a lot different from other venues not just in the country but in Southeast Asia, because we haven’t seem a venue in Southeast Asia that has Corporate Suites similar to that on the United States..”

In competition with Smart Araneta Coliseum, the Mall of Asia Arena is located on the south so they could coexist without clashing one another’s business.

The Mall of Asia of Arena is located at Pasay city Philippines and will open its doors at May 19,2012 and will held its first entertainment show featuring Lady Gaga on May 21 and Backstreet Boys and New Kids on the Block on June 3.

Are end days for the Philippines? Recent report said that debris from long-range missile might fall on the Philippine territory from North Korea when it launches its missiles in the middle of April, which put worries on the Philippine government because the Philippines have no advanced capability to monitor missile and low ability to enforce a no-fly zone.

“Our radars have a very low, small window of areas that they can survey….we cannot even monitor aircraft flying over, our skies because we completely rely on commercial air traffic controllers. We don’t have an air-defense system..” Pnoy ,Honasan.

Thus, the Philippine government is asking an international help from its allied countries to prepare for the worse that the debris from a long-range missile from North Korea might incur doom on the Philippine areas of responsibility.

“..Now, we will ask those that have more extensive surveillance capabilities to be able to give us more warnings in case it really poses a danger to any of our population..We have to prepare for the worst and hope for the best…”

According to President Noy, who doesn’t want to incur panic on its people though on his speech it reflects some alarm by saying that they are doing their best to control bases and international support that has expertise that will tell what are the dangers that it might incur; “..how big an area will be affected…” and what are the possible areas that can be considered danger zones;”…how high is the probability..” of danger that will incur unto the Philippine population.

The Aquino government has urged its local disaster management department (the National Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council [NDRRMC]) to make the necessary preparations if some debris of the long-range missile from North Korea really might cause havoc on some areas of the Philippine territory.

But, doubly, PNoy’s National Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council [NDRRMC]) has not yet proven its effectiveness on regards to disaster management which really put great worries and panic upon the Filipino people he governs.

Let’s hope for the worst to come, hopefully, it will not but sure it will?

Parents, teachers, and enrollees should not be surprise if they find some oddities on the coming school year 2012-2013, particularly, on public schools; for the Department of Education have already foretold beforehand since year 2010 about the implementation of a new enhanced basic education system on the year 2012 to reformat the old basic 10 year education system that has become ineffective nowadays in helping the graduates find a better jobs.

Actually, the Department of Education has already made a briefer of the new program on their official website to orient the public about it. Moreover, it was also reported on media and newspaper then wherein it has gain both positive and negative reactions from concerned public especially the parents and guardians that currently supports and shoulder the basic education needs of their children and pets, respectively.

This new and enhanced public curriculum that the Department of Education have plan to implement this coming school year 2012-2013 since the year 2010 is what the Department of Education called “Enhanced K+12 Basic Education Program” under the K 6-4-2 model.K+12 stands or means kindergarten plus or kindergarten, and 12 years of elementary and secondary under the K 6-4-2 structure. The K 6-4-2 structure or model according to the Department of Health “…involves kindergarten, six years of elementary education, four years of junior high school (Grades 7 to 10) and two years of senior high school intend to provide time for students to consolidate acquired academic skills and competencies…”

Though this enhanced basic education program of the Department of Education seems to be promising in regards to enhancing and putting the basic public education in the Philippines in high standard, parents, guardians, and students will still feel uncomfortable and hesitant to concur and will consequently of course resort to enroll their children on private schools instead with the accustomed 10 year basic system of education and only few will follow the new curriculum of the Department of Education given the circumstance that the Aquino administration have failed to crackdown the perceived graft and corruption in the government as it promises though showing partiality on appointing government officials and the stinking incompetency and unprofessionalism of these new government officials which PNoy have appointed.

Moreover, parents, guardians and students will always be irritated on hearing “additional two years” which they will quickly perceived to be an additional time, money, and effort which only make no any sense upon graduation in regards to finding a better paying jobs. For they will always have an impression that college education is the only key and means to have a better jobs after graduation and not additional academic units on elementary and high school.

But the Department of Education have defended their K+12 program that it will not add additional nonsense two years of as usually most parents, guardians, and students will quickly perceived and judged; rather, albeit plus two on academic units, minus two on finding a job. Or in other words, the K+12 program of the Department of Education will minimize additional two years on spending on college studies for right after a public student have graduated from the program, he or she can already find a better jobs similar to a college graduate without attending any college level of education, according to the Department of Education.

“……minus 2 instead of plus 2 for those families who cannot afford a college education but still wish to have their children find a good paying job. Right now, parents spent for at least 4 years of college to have an employable child. In our model, parents will not pay for 2 years of basic education that will give them an employable child. Ineffect, we are saving parents 2 years of expenses. The plan is not “Plus 2 years before graduation” but “Minus 2 years before work to inspire a shift in attitude that completion of high school education is more than just preparation for college but can be sufficient for a gainful employment or career..”

The Department of Education plans to alter the public perception and consciousness that diploma on High School will not yield a better and good paying job but just a preparation for a college education through their K+12 program. They aim to do this because according to the Department of Education, Philippine high school diplomas are not recognized by top universities on other countries for top foreign universities require six years of secondary education thus makes those who spend their elementary and secondary units on the public schools and even on private school with old educational system find hard to acquire scholarships abroad if perchance they wanted to apply for it.

Actually, last January 12,2012 a summit for K+12 program of the Department of Education was held at Miriam College for the preparation of the implementation of the K+12 program of the Department of Education for the coming school year 2012-2013,not only on public schools but also on private schools so that though a student is reluctant to follow the K+12 program of the Department of Education on public schools and will resort to study instead on private schools, one will not still be able to escape the K+12 program of the Department of Education.

Thus, whether parents, guardians, and students live the new curriculum of the Department of Education that will be implemented this coming school year 2012-2013, or not, one will still be force to follow and concur.
