The Philippine TV Comic Millionaire

Who can imagine that a poor showbiz underdog personality that begins in the Philippine showbiz as a mere extra into a favorite naughty comic side-kick of most Philippine action stars in their respective movies surprises the entire Philippines showbiz land when he becomes an instant millionaire by just hosting a regular daily noontime show on ABS-CBN Channel 2 having a salary of more than 20 million pesos a month.

Wowowee

Wowowee

But this was just a rough assumption of his monthly income because the management of ABS-CBN Channel 2 never reveals the real deal of his monthly income. Actually, some guess that it could be 25 million pesos per month or even more than a whooping 40 million pesos a month because he files a 40 million pesos tax regularly on the Bureau of Internal Revenue or BIR.

It is really surprising that his talent fee have accelerated into so much height that even the president of the Philippines never have a salary like it, yet this comic Philippine star still express complains on his own noontime show or is he just so pressured and stress of his popularity and instant riches and wealth?

Willie Revillame

Willie Revillame

Of course, what I am talking about is Mr. Wowowee – Willie Revillame, who has a public life or an open life ever since he began joining showbiz. Every Filipino TV viewers have witness his ups and downs and now his condition from rags into riches. Some loves him but some hates him because of his naughty and straightforward mouth. His noontime show –Wowowee have beaten the No.1 ratings of its competitor noontime show – Eat Bulaga, one time.

Why the Philippines is considered a Typhoon Pathway

The Philippines is considered a favorite path of most typhoons or tropical cyclone in the Pacific region of the globe, but up until now there is no definite answer why weather forecasters in the Philippines hold this statement. For some says because the Philippines is surrounded with the waters of the Pacific sea being a group of islands or an archipelago, thus it could be a reason why most typhoons pass through it.

Typhoons in the Philippines

Typhoons in the Philippines

Mostly, a tropical cyclone is develops when a heat pressures a still waters which creates a circling winds and water with volts of thunder and lightings. The heat stirs up the atomic molecules on the water which perhaps creates lightings and thunders, and force or pressure of the heat imparted on the waters produces a cyclone effect. Where the heat does came from? Probably either from the heat emitted from the rays of the sun or from earth’s inner heat. And these heat sources when it levels up, it put pressures on the status or condition of the atomic molecules of the water or it agitates the atomic molecules of the water.

Therefore, if tropical cyclone develops on large bodies of water like seas and oceans, this could be the reason why the Philippines are a favorite gateway of most Pacific typhoons. But however, this is only my own hypothesis, yet the closest reason why local weather forecaster considers the Philippines as “daanan ng bagyo” or typhoon pathway.

Religious Freaks in the Philippines

Even the Philippines is not spare from useless religious wrangling of major and minor religious sect vying for the approval of one Filipino who is searching for a religion whom he or she will join; because the Philippines is predominantly Catholic and Christian country eclipsing Islam dominance on the Luzon and Visayan part of the Philippines. Islam religion has only dominance in the Mindanao part of the Philippines.

A predominant Christian country that  is divided into many variety of so-called Christian churches like the Roman Catholic church, the orthodox church, the protestant, the Methodist, the Baptist, the Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC),the Jehovah’s witness, the Mormons, the charismatic, the born again, the CFCs, the SFCs, the JIL movement the “dating daan” movement, the El Shaddai group, etc.

So many variety that leads into maligning and slandering one another and calling one another “fake and satanic” and even killing one another just like what have happened to an INC pastor and his family who were massacred inside the INC compound together with his wife and children, as reported a year ago; just only to convince a Filipino seeker to join their religious group which is so vain and so senseless. There are other religious killings happening below the table but was not reported on the public because one’s religious reputation will be ruined or tainted and will lose chances of winning a proselyte if it is publicly reported. Obviously, some what they only want is the tithes or money offerings that a proselyte will donate or give to their respective churches or religious congregation because of financial poverty.

Take for example, pastor Mike Velarde who founded the El Shaddai group wherein he become an instant millionaire by asking tithes and money offerings from his followers in exchange for prayer requests and his blessings as the servant of God and Christ. Actually, he have already bought his own mall and even attempted to run for a government seat.

The Happy Pinoy

Modern day fast-paced and workaholic lifestyle wherein our time for sufficient rest and relaxation has been hi-jacked by the inventions of light bulbs, computers, televisions, radios, etc. and other technologies and inventions that extend our daytime and sometimes makes us sleepless, has brought multiple stress-related diseases like depression, anxiety disorders, Hypertensions, heart attacks, diabetes, and other modern-day illness and diseases, which not only robs our physical body to have a sufficient break but also eats up our ability to stay constantly at peace, positive and happy. A suicidal rate has now been part of every country in the world.

With all of these, how can such group of people or nation in the world stay laughing out loud the problems and worries they are facing? ; For recent reports reveals that the Pilipinos are one of the most happy people in the world today. Wow, that is really good news for people seeking to be inflicted with a Happy diseases. But how can Pilipino stay happy and positive despite of the attacks and onslaughts of problems, diseases and calamities, whereas some other races succumb to suicide and depression? This is one of the mystery attitudes of Pilipinos aside from being a talented race which the other nations admire and enamored with.

Some Famous Philippine Politics Lexicon Words

In a messy world of politics, sometimes a politician came out something from his or her mouth a name calling against fellow politician which in turn become an instant addition to a politics’ lexicon of words and phrases, like the invented tagalong word “trapo” which connotes a used and useless Philippine politician or person.

Traditional Politicians aka Trapos

Traditional Politicians aka Trapos

Actually, this word is mostly used by the protestors and militants against a politician they dislike. It is one of the mostly used Philippine politics lexicon word in the Philippines. Actually, the word “trapo” is a short term for “traditional politician” that makes no any true change in the Philippines that benefitted the entire Pilipinos but just either only sitting on their respective government seats waiting for funds or pork barrel ( wherein some politicians are being accused of corrupting it) which Joe de Venecia invented somewhat euphemistic lexicon word in exchange for the word pork barrel, that is “earmark” ( a “trapo” waiting for  his/her “earmark”); or a Philippine politician who acts like watch-dog where he or she criticize and criticize negatively on the government systems and exposing so-called “anomalies”, “graft and corruption”, etc.

This kind of Philippine politicians is called in Philippine politics lexicon, a “fiscalizer”. Actually, PNoy consider himself to be one as he says, but now he is on the seat of administration, what he “fiscalizing” now is the former administration.

Counterfeiting the Philippine Money

Philippine money is not spare from being pirated aside from Philippine movies and songs which are mostly counterfeited by some Filipinos themselves.

Philippine Money

Philippine Money

Pirated money is often the most hard to detect unless you are a money expert in making a legitimate money for your countries or a bank official who is in charge of designing a legitimate money for your country. But if you are just a mere ordinary citizen, you better watch out lest you do not know you are either using or receiving a fake Philippine money which could also bring you to a false accusation by the Philippine bank of proliferating a fake Philippine money perchance the money you are using is detected as fake by the fake money detectors on leading shopping malls and establishments. How can you escape this undesirable incident?

However, you don’t have to worry because the national Philippine bank or the BSP ( Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas) have issue what Philippine money is being counterfeited and how to detect the fake from genuine.

Counterfeit Philippine Money

Counterfeit Philippine Money

The Philippine moneys that are mostly counterfeited are the 500 pesos bill, the 5 peso coin, and the 10 peso coin. What does Ninoy have to say about this if he is still alive that his own money (the 500 peso bill) is the favorite Philippine money the money counterfeiters love to fake? Will he able to say again his famous statement to his Beloved Filipino: “The Filipino is worth dying for”? Think again, Ninoy.

The Blame Game of the New Philippine President

Since PNoy political campaigns, the theme of his would be administration is already showing, that is “I am the righteous one, they are evil”. In short, political hypocrisy!;to find fault from the former administration and exalting oneself to be righteous rather than focusing on the needs and necessities of every Filipino and to bring peace and harmony in the Philippines.

Noynoy

Noynoy

On his first days of work, his administration already start the blame game they plan to do and behind this political hypocrisy and self-righteousness are the so-called “Hyatt 10” or the “Black and White Movement” whose suspicious major agenda is only to take a personal revenge against the former administration for axing them from their respective former government seats during the former administration. They keep on criticizing and maligning the former administration for such this and that without showing a very solid convincing proofs, which is already becoming annoying and provokes nothing but contentions and strife again, rather than peace and true change (of Philippine political landscape, for example). The legacy of useless political bickering still continues and never have changed as his promise on his political campaign. You can expect more of this political blame game at his first State Of the Nation Address or SONA, as he says in the news that his SONA will “shock” the Filipino.

How the Filipino has is always victim of political hogwash and ear candy promises in choosing their leader? Has PNoy do something that will produce change when he was senator? Nothing! He just “blames and blame”.

The New Philippine President

However, to be just, let us give the new Philippine president a break, but if these blame games continue, I don’t think the Filipinos have finally chosen a right leader for their country.

Desperate Filipina

In the Philippines, Filipino women have equal status or equal rights with Filipino men but this is only specifically on a non-Muslim places and communities because Islam religion are somewhat male chauvinist in their dealings with womankind.

Filipina

Filipina

Filipino women on a non-Muslim community in the Philippines enjoy every rights of a free human. Being just like the Filipino men, and one of these rights is to look for a foreign partner aside from her Filipino men counterpart and to marry these foreign boyfriends legally in the Philippines as their chosen husbands or spouse.

Actually, this has been already a trend to most young Filipina in the Philippines today, but there is a suspicious reason why. That is, a force “gold digging” because of financial poverty. Most young Filipinas pose as a sexy female model in a sexy cyber chat websites hoping to hook and to find a horny male foreigner that may have an option to marry them aside from paying them in exchange for cybersex. However, some other young Filipina women have other means and never participate in this kind of finding a foreigner lover but what they do instead is they make profiles on an online dating site hoping to find a rich foreign straight guy who are looking for a relationship.

Filipino Women

Filipino Women

But I am not saying all Filipinas seeking a foreign lover have this kind of intention and motives, it was just rampant nowadays and I was just concerned when will a desperate Filipina stop using herself as a bait to catch a big fat fish beyond the Philippine seas?

Water Crisis in Metro Manila Philippines 2010

Water problem is always a problem that keeps on reoccurring and would not go away among the Metro Manila dwellers. It is like a disease that is hard to cure varying from water supply bills, water supply shortage, volume of water discharge on faucets, leaking water pipeline, unclean water discharge, and most of all the uncontrolled flow of too much excess water or so-called flood.

Slum near Manila Bay

Slum near Manila Bay

Almost every year there is a water problem in Metro Manila part of the Philippines and the most recent is the ongoing water crisis or shortage supply of water manifested by a rotational shift of water supply. This is due to the lower water level of Angat Dam where most Metro Manila dwellers get their water supply through Maynilad (the water suppliers of the west zone part of Metro Manila) and Manila Water (the water suppliers of the east zone part of Metro Manila) machinery or water systems.

Of course, a dam reservoir do not produce its own water rather it depends upon the amount or volume of rainfall whenever it rains, thus, if it does not rain for a year, the water level on a dam reservoir declines unless Maynilad and Manila Water will do something to fix it at once lest if not there would be a crisis of water supply or the worse a no water supply to those Metro Manila dwellers whose water pipes are connected to Maynilad and Manila Water water pipelines.

Water Shortage in Manila

Therefore, how can this repetitive and annual problem be solved, if Metro Manila Philippines will not be decongested with too much dwellers and extend the economic progress to provinces that is mostly centered on Manila Philippines.

No more Balanced Climate Seasons in the Philippines

Climate seasons was said to be varying depending on what location on the globe your country reside; some have two seasons only like in the Philippines but some have more than two.

Usual Climate Seasons in the Philippines

Usual Climate Seasons in the Philippines

Actually, if one is a keen observer, there are only two standard seasons, namely when the sun is out up there at its best which is called summer season, and when the sun is too shy to shine which is called cold season or in some other countries it is called winter season where it rains snowflakes; and there is no more than two. The only reason why some have seasons like autumn and snow time because of temperature changes during the cold seasons or hot seasons in a specific country that experiences more than two climate seasons.

But in the Philippines is said to be in the equator of the globe, experiences a balanced tow climate seasons; not too hot summer season and not too cold season. However, because of global climate changes, the Philippines too no more experienced the standard or balanced climate seasons the Philippines used to experience.

Rainy Season in the Philippines

Rainy Season in the Philippines

For recently (I thought it was March- June 2010),the Philippines experience heat wave up to 39 °C hot, similar to other countries who experiences the same and more than two climate seasons. Philippines summer season have become too very hot and not normal anymore as compare to past summer seasons back then. But Philippines’ cold season is still on normal range as well as the Philippines typhoon months is still not out of sync, because the Philippines never yet experience snow or heavy downpour of ice or frozen rain drops because its cold season become too very cold.
